Halloween costumes

I'm putting off working on my inservice presentation sooo....

Are people dressing up babies in costumes this Halloween? If so, what do you plan to have them wear/dress up as?

Will you be taking them out trick or treating or staying close to home?

I'm going very low key this year. I haven't really bought a costume, but my sister brought DS a Mickey Mouse sweatshirt with ears on hood from Disneyland so I will probably have him wear that.

I also don't plan on taking him trick or treating but he will help me pass out candy to trick or treaters until his bath/bed time.

On a side note, we will be visiting a pumpkin patch to pick out a pumpkin to carve into a jack-o-latern, but we usually go every year. Plus I love to toast and eat pumpkin seeds Smile

I got E a pumpkin costume for 5 bucks haha. I don't think she will keep it on long so I didn't want to spend a lot! We might go to my parents house and she can help hand out candy and see all the kids, she would love that.

I got a costume on clearance at Macy's last year for $3, so Evelyn is going to be a cow. We will probably just stay close to home and hand out candy. Some friends of ours are having a party and I'm trying to decide if I want to take her or not. It will be kid-friendly but there will be plenty of cocktail, so I may opt to leave her with Grandma.

We are hoping to do the pumpkin patch thing tomorrow if it doesn't rain. A local farm here will take you on a hayride, let you pick a pumpkin, and explore their corn maze and farm animals for $5. I also love to toast the seeds. Smile

We bought Ryan a tiger costume from Carters. They had them at Costco for 12 bucks. We might go to a kids Halloween event but will likely just stay home to hand out candy.

Vivi is going to be a ghost, I made her costume from everything that I had on hand so it costed me about $1.50 for the long-sleeved onesie I bought on clearance, lol.

We're taking DS out trick-or-treating so Vivi will tag along Smile Our community has ToTing to the local businesses during the daylight, so we'll do that and then swing by each of the grandparents houses. We don't get any ToTers at our home.
