But I'm going back to diapers in only 11-weeks
DS was fully potty trained at 2.5, he'll be 6 the week before little brother arrives. We have been a diaper-free zone for almost 3.5 years!
Oh man! What were we thinking?
Anyone else starting to comprehend what we are getting ourselves into
BTW, my nursery is still in the garage.....not even started

Lol I've been wiping @sses since October 2002!! Now thankfully all of my babies were potty trained by the time the next one came, but still I was having to help them wipe on the big potty lol! Yes it's starting to hit me again, and what's worse than diapers is the thought of having to buy formula again. I work full time and I just know I'm going to have to supplement with bottles and formula, and it's like, $20 per can!! Are they out of their minds?!?!?! On the nursery front, though, I should be done with mine by Thursday!

It's definitely starting to sink in. As much as I have wanted to have a baby for a long time, I am acutely aware of how it is going to change our relationship. I am working on stocking up my cloth diapers, but I am starting to think of all the laundry I am going to have to do...and formula is not even an option at this point. We don't qualify for WIC and who can afford $20 a can for formula!? So, if breastfeeding is torture, I am going to have to suck it up and try to do it anyway. I haven't even started on the nursery and I don't even have anything to put in it at this point.
Changing diapers doesn't bother me. Paying for them gets me though lol. If dd isn't potty trained by then we will have two in diapers and I am not looking forward to paying for that.
Yep, I've been thinking about "starting over" for awhile now. My daughter is independent for the most part. She is almost 5 so she has been potty trained for awhile, she dresses herself, feeds herself, entertains herself, etc. Now it's going to be my responsbility to do ALL of these things again for Ryan for the next probably 3 years at least....lol. What was I thinking!?! JK And I am not looking forward to buying diapers either. Like Angie said I don't mind changing them, it's paying for them that stinks. I am going to see if we qualify for WIC but I am not sure. I do intend to breasfeed/pump for as long as possible though.
Oh man your post made reality hit that I am going to have TWO in diapers! EEEK!!!!!
For those worried about formula- I breastfed and supplemented the whole time with Nicholas and was able to get by on one can of Sam's club formula ($15 for a can 2x the size of name brand) a month which really didn't affect our budget too much. The diapers are what kills us!!!!

As far as changing diapers, I am bummed about that for sure. My DS has been potty trained and it will be for about a year by the time the baby comes. Two and a half more years of diapers, here I come!
My BIGGEST concerns are the midnight feedings and lack of sleep... and the baby colds. Everything else is a piece of cake.
