We did it! I can't believe they are finally here.
Surprisingly, the birth was as pleasant as you can imagine. I laboured for 5 hours with Pitocin during the night on 12/20; by the time they checked me in the morning, little Jalen had decided to change the show, and had moved into a transverse position, making vaginal delivery impossible, Both me and my doctor were disappointed, but he assured me that the C-section wouldn't be all that bad.
Jalen was born on 12/21 at 3:36 p.m., weighing 5 lbs. 7 oz., and his twin Jordan was born at 3:37 p.m. weighing 6 lbs. 2 oz. We stayed in the hospital for 3 days, their Apgars were 8 and 9. and they've been doing oh so well ever since.
Pictures! (Okay so the first few ones are ghetto pics of pics that we ordered...we couldn't wait for the hard copies!)
Jalen 1 month old!
Jordan 1 month old!
This is the hardest thing I've ever done, but it's also the most rewarding. They were our Christmas gifts.
EDIT: Holy **** these are huge! I tried to fix them but they're still coming up this big. :/
awww congrats!!! I like the one where you are holding them, precious!
