Movement?!

Ok, so this seems and sounds crazy but I would swear I have seen and felt movement already! About a week ago, I was laying in bed watching TV and I started to see a slight movement on my left side of my bulging belly... but I didn't feel anything. Then a few days later, I felt something... that noticeble belly tickle of butterflies or bubbles and I looked down and could see some movement again... in the same spot on the left side of my belly.

Do you think it is waaaay too early for this and I'm just imagining these things???

I don't think you're crazy. I have been feeling movement since about 9.5 weeks. At first it was just a super quick nudge. Maybe 2 in a row. Now it's been starting to get a little bit stronger, almost like a wiggle. It happens in about the same spot every time. I always try to look down to see if I can actually *see* the movement from the outside because sometimes the "wiggle" feeling feels like it could be strong enough to make a little movement but it happens so quick that by the time I look down it's gone. So now, I don't think you're crazy one bit! I'm sure everybody reading this thinks I'm crazy too - but I don't care. It reassures me that everything is going just fine in there, and that's exactly what I need to know after my miscarriage.

I felt Nicholas at 14 weeks- Super early for a FTM and I had an anterior placenta on top of it all. It felt like what you described- flutters. It does seem a little early but you never know!

My sister said she felt her 2nd a lot earlier too. I would dismiss it as gas except for the weird movements I see on one side of the belly... plus, I wasn't having gassy issues at the time! I look a couple week further than I did at 14 weeks in my last pregnancy, so maybe that has something to do with it too. My sister says you are just more in tune with things... and so far in this pregnancy I felt ovulation, i felt implantation... it's just been weird like that!

Thanks for your comments though!! Smile

Oh, and I was around 15 or 16 weeks when I felt movement with my first baby... if that adds any perspective.

Jules - I agree with being more in tune with 2nd pregnancies (or more). I remember being pg with DS and feeling movement and doubting it for the longest time. When something new happens to you (like feeling movement or hiccups or contractions) its hard to know what it really is or if you are imagining it. But once you have been pg and know what its like, its much easier to decipher the next time.

You're not crazy! I swear in the past couple of days I have felt movement, too. It's only when I'm laying in bed really still... I haven't "seen" it but I have definitely felt it! And this being my fourth baby, I like to think that I can tell the difference between baby and gas lol!

Of course when I told hubby about it, he gave me the classic, "You're not that pregnant yet." I swear I could have thrown something at his stupid big head! How would he know, he doesn't pay that much attention anyway! I'm pregnant enough to be wearing maternity clothes and have a protruding baby bump! He won't even pick up a pregnancy book if his life depended on it! Ugghhhhh!

It's definatly possible. i feel "her" too. I asked the Ob and she said that it was really easy to find the HB so "she's" right up there. It's 100% possible to feel it.
