My cat is acting strange...

Why do I get the feeling that animals know when something is up?? My cat has been shadowing me all day, climbing on my legs when I'm on the couch, following me into the bathroom when I went for a shower, and then tearing around the house acting completely rambunctious and crazy!! I wonder if he knows something I don't?? All I can say is that I haven't had much in the way of contractions or even just BH, but I've been extremely nauseous and running to the bathroom a couple times  of course I haven't eaten much today thanks to the nausea so maybe that's all it is, but still....I feel bad enough that we cancelled going out for a walk to look at Christmas lights tonight!!

They totally do! My dog has been following me around everywhere. If I go to the bathroom, she follows me in or she will lay right outside the door until I come out. I think she senses that the baby will be here soon.

Hope you're feeling better soon and maybe the nausea is a good sign of things happening!

Aww! How sweet us your cat! Whether he knows something or not he's concerned about you.

At last your cat is being sweet! My 2 are being jerks- they are used to being outdoors so now that there is snow and cold weather they have been fighting off and on. They still cuddle and want attention but they are a bit annoying lately.

I got 2 cuddle bags at my shower so went to see which one would fit better- got the car seat from downstairs and on of them has peed in it and not just once :angry1: So I spend awhile cleaning and pulling the car seat apart- now everything is drying off- oh was I mad!!! So when I get it back together tomorrow i will have to hid it somewhere. I am pretty sure I know which cat it is, because my black cat is the type to sleep on every baby thing he finds. I am going to have to watch my orange cat closely.

I think animals know. My dog wouldn't leave my side when I was pg with DS. Then towards the end he would pee on my belly. OMG - I stayed mad at him. He would literally jump on me in the bed and pee all over my belly. We had to dry clean our comforter like 7 times in a short amount of time.

Well, not yet anyway. Give him time. Wink

I was having contractions at the mall this weekend and Dh said "you can't go into labor now, I left my Xanax at home" Ha - he gets so nervous and stressed at the thought of L&D.

lol, that's awesome. Ed has been uber, uber stressed this whole pregnancy b/c he wasn't working, but now that he's working he's more relaxed & I think I've actually caught him smiling a few times. Smile
