Do you think its ok to still sleep on my stomach? With DS it was never an issue - I was more comfortable on my side. But this time I can't fall asleep or stay asleep unless I am on my stomach.

I am not a stomach sleeper at all, but I don't personally see why that would be a problem. There should be plenty of cushion and the only thing I heard is bad is to sleep on your back bc that can reduce blood flow to the baby. That's my issue... I'm only comfortable on my back and I have been trying to not sleep on my back and wake up with neck headaches every morning. blah.

I would check with your doctor but I would imagine that you would feel uncomfy it was hurting the baby.

I was kind of thinking this too. The baby is still small enough to fit inside my pelvis, its just my belly that's big. So maybe its still ok?

I think it is around 20 weeks where the uterus starts going outside the pelvis so you will probably have to stop around then.

I still sleep on my tummy, a little bit here and there. It's starting to get uncomfortable so I will be abandoning it soon, but I don't think it's a big deal as long as it's comfortable to you.

I have heard of moms who've slept on their tummies until their 3rd trimester!

im a belly sleeper. I remember asking about belly sleeping in the 3rd trimester with Luke, my midwife said it was fine and it wont hurt or squash the baby. I like laying on my belly, its the only time i feel the baby move right now

I sleep on my stomach, bug I use a wedge cushion to support my belly as I bring up my right or left leg and lift that hip off the bed a little, if that makes sense. I find it very comfy and it seems like less pressure on my belly. If I am flat on it, I can feel my uterus like a rock and it isn't very comfortable!

This is how I sleep too most of the time. Sometimes laying on my back is the only way to be comfortable. I know that's not exactly ideal but it's better than being up all night. I know once I get bigger I will have to stop the back sleeping and just find ways to sleep on my side.

I think it's fine as long as you're comfortable. I remember sleeping on my stomach in the 3rd tri with Miles.
