Too bad it regenerates itself until you actually go into labor! I've been globbing for a week. It's gross!

I want your babies to be born!! Maybe this weekend??

It's lovely, isn't it? My water broke less than a week after losing mine w/DS1. Maybe not too much longer?

Hooray for more progress!! I am not excited at the thought of losing a mucus plug. Sounds so disgusting and probably is even worse than it sounds...lol

I didn't lose it till I was in labor with Luke. This time however is totally different. My midwife said it replaces itself if you lose it before labor. She seemed to indicate that bloody mucus was more a sign of pending labor. All I know is im sick of all these 'signs' of labor that don't necessarily mean a thing!

I didn't lose mine with Brynna either. I have noticed an increase in discharge (sorry for the TMI!) but I don't think it's a mucus plug.

It was a little horrifying. It was like a 3-part brown jello jiggler.

Bloody show. I think that's more of a sign like your midwife said.

Pregnancy in its entirety is for sure the most disgusting thing ever. Human beings are about to come out and they'll have long nails. That's got to be the worst of it! EWW toenails on someone else that I have to clip. That's got to be as bad as or worse than the tar poop I keep hearing about. Though my mom says the yellow cottage cheese poop after that is worse.

Haha, oh yes, tar poop. That's so fun to try and scrap off your little ones butt. This time I'll be having to try and get it off boy parts which seems like a nightmare! And yes the cottage cheese, breast milk poop is always fun as well....lol

With the seed looking things.... It's like they are eating sesame seeds without us knowing.

Are you all trying to convince yourselves that keepin them in is the better option? hahaha

Haha! On the jan board someone posted putting oil on baby's butt helps for cleaning off tar poo. Maybe bring a small vial of veg oil or olive oil.

I saw this too. I don't remember the tarry poop being hard to clean up though.

IMO the breastfeeding poop looks kinda nasty but it doesn't smell that bad but it seems to get EVERYWHERE!

I thought breastfeeding poop didn't smell until my sister had my nephew a few weeks ago. Holy cow that kid smells when he poops. And yes it goes everywhere! We had more blow outs as an infant on breastmilk than any other time.

I always thought BM poo smelled like buttered movie theater popcorn

I do remember tar poo being pretty sticky so it took alot of wipes. Luckily it only lasts a few days most.

DS1's bm poop always smelled like Play-Doh to me... but the moment we introduced solids, it magically turned into poop-poop forever after.

Tmi question... Too embarrassed to start my own thread so I thought I'd hijack this one since it is plug related... For those of you losing your plug, what color is it? I've been losing mine a good two weeks. For tube last 5 days or so it has gotten thicker... And defintely GREEN tinged and globby. It looks more like something you would blow out your nose when you are sick. I have never had an infection down there, and there is no odor, but its truly this thick greenish goo now.... I go through probably 4-5 liners a day.

I would have to call mine more clear to yellow. It is super globby, like a sinus infection. I see some every few days but not every day. It is very gross.

I've heard green was common.

Okay good! Mine went from whitish yellow, to taking on some definite green properties. Joy... Sinus infection describes it pretty well... Eeeeww! Lol. I'm so ready to not be pregnant!

I find that the loads and loads of boogery mucus is white to yellow, but the plug itself was light brown.
