Pools and Splash pads?

How are your kiddos taking to the water this summer? Are you taking them to the splash pad, pool, or something at your home?

I've started taking Claire to the Splash pad near us and she loves it. She loves it so much that she is now trying to climb into the shower with me everyday. Our base pool has a free mommy and me time where only the baby pool is open but we haven't made it to that yet. Maybe later this week. Smile

Evelyn is loving the water too! I was worried that she might be scared of the pool, but she loves it. We have a little inflatable pool that we got last year and are using again this year and she also has a water table. We've taken her to my grandparent's pool and a few hotel pools when we've been out traveling. She had a blast!

I got Isabella a little baby pool with 2 rings. She loves the water. I want to take her to the big pool and see how she does swimming with mommy.

Our base pool canceled their mommy and me time for summer! Sad But, We went to a friends apartment complex pool today and Claire had a blast. I think I need to get her a life jacket though because she watches the other kids and thinks she can just get in the pool anywhere she wants and just walk right off the steps into nothing! Any recommendations?

We have a backyard pool but are not sure if we will open it this year since we just put a childproof cover on it that takes a lot of effort to put on and take off. In the meantime I bought a 2 ft kiddy pool at the dollar store and DS LOVES it. He played in it for about an hour the other day which is longer than any other toy he's ever had!
We also have an awesome splash park in our town and he loves going there.

We haven't been to a splash pad ever (not even with our 4 year old!). It's just starting to get really warm here, so we'll probably head to the lake this week. Vivi loves bathtime, so I'm thinking she'll love to swim!
