C hasn't gone that long but he gets major constipation and once an adult-like poop so he has to take an ounce of doctor-ordered apple juice. Of course, everyone I meet thinks I'm an idiot who feeds my babies juice for funsies, but then I hear LOTS of stories from others whose babies go as long as yours, Joy. It has been warm (until today...), could it be dehydration? The pedi might allow an ounce of water if it is. Ours also recommends a baby suppository after 5 days, but obviously you'd want to ask your own doc.
I agree that seven days is too long for no poop. He isn't crying or fussy? I would go ahead and give him one or two oz of apple juice. I swear after twenty or thirty minutes he'll poop. I know you're not supposed to give baby juice at this stage... but when my little sister was born and she got constipated around 2-3 months old, we asked her pedi what to do and he said go ahead with the AJ... it worked wonders and I've done the same thing with all of my babies any time they got constipated.

I would call my doc I think to get an idea about if/what to do. I probably would avoid giving anything if he's not in discomfort AND the doctor is ok with it but I'd want to at least run it by the doc.
Rory still poops 5 or 6 times a day so I'm no help at all!
I'm no help either. I hope M poops soon. But watch out its going to be a huge blowout!

Our son did that. Our doctor said it was fine for a breastfed baby because there's not much waste. I think 12-14 days was the max they'd like it to go but it never went that long anyways. He usually pooped 1x a week for quite a bit (until we started solids of course). Vivi is still pooping multiple times a day.
