Pregnancy brain fart!!

OK girls, I had a total pregnancy ****** moment this morning and couldn't help but share it with you! So I knew I had my U/S this morning... I get up early, get the kids ready, take them over to my moms... not to mention switched my work schedule from opening to closing, and DH went in to work late also due to the appt. So we finally drive across town to the appt, only to have the receptionist tell me that my appt isn't today... IT'S NEXT FRIDAY!!!!!!! I'm such a complete moron! I was so upset I started crying as soon as I went out into the lobby, just because of all the hoop jumping I had to do to get there this morning... not to mention the fact that I looked like a complete idiot! I think the only thing that could top that would be my pregnancy brain fart with DD... I went shopping at Wal Mart and when I came out my car was gone! I searched everywhere and someone had stolen my car! So there I was standing in 110 degree heat with two young boys, with my groceries melting everywhere all the while 6 months pregnant, and my car was stolen while I was shopping! I call the police and inform security at Wal Mart. After about 5 minutes security comes and tells me that my car hadn't been stolen, I was parked on the other side of the parking lot!! I had parked on the "store" side and exited the "grocery" side! I had to call the police back and explain how much of an idiot I was! LMAO it's scary what pregnancy can do to the brain! I swear I'm intelligent not pregnant!

Has anything like this happened to you girls (please don't leave me hanging out on the stupid limb alone!)??

Nothing major yet, but with DS1...

I was in my 3rd Tri... the point where you're always aware of the bowling ball in your tummy. I drove my morning commute to work, and stopped off at WallyWorld to pick up my avocado and kiwi. I got out of my car and I felt... normal! And I felt a wave of panic! I looked frantically at the backseat of my car, and had only a single awful thought in my head: "Oh, no! I've forgotten the baby!"

And then I looked down at my tummy and realized that was kind of impossible. Biggrin Had a good laugh at myself. Biggrin

This is more a tale of clumsiness than brain fart, but yesterday we had a luncheon at work. When it was over, I tried to help clean up. First, I tried to remove the overstuffed bag from the garbage can. Because the plates and utensils were shoved down in there, when I lifted it out, things started flying onto the floor, so I had to clean up a bunch of garbage from the floor. Then I tried to carry some things to the kitchen and, in the process, dumped the parmesan cheese all over the floor. So I had to run the vacuum. My coworkers just watched and laughed and I'm sure they were getting a huge kick out of the clumsy pregnant lady. I just gave up and went to my desk after that.

i went to a meeting a few weeks ago and had the date wrong. i was also frustrated to tears! I had to wake Luke up from his nap, drop him off at my DH's work, make it to my office, and there was no meeting. I felt so dumb and frustrated!

Lmao that's so funny about your car. I'd feel bad about getting the appt wrong too. Ugh now you have to wait another week! Yikes.
