QOTD: Friday

What do you do to pamper yourself while you are pregnant? or anytime for that matter?

I worked my butt off last weekend to get our yard cleaned up and our kitchen painted and I am going to be hosting a picnic on Sunday, so I have decided to treat myself to a mani/pedi tomorrow with a friend. A little relaxation in the midst of several crazy weeks. I can't wait!!

Books. That is really the only thing I treat myself to ever. Well, that and scrapbook supplies, but books more. I *love* reading.

For me, it's probably getting pedicures. I go every couple months. I take my ipad and read or play games and zone out. Which reminds me that I need to go again soon. I love having pretty toenails.

Jersey Shore is my break....lol it is not "pampering" but it is a guilty pleasure for me. I look forward to it every week.

Pampering...yeah, not me.

The only time I get to pamper myself is when I can get away and take a hot bath... and even then my DD beats down the door because she wants to take a bath with me! I really would love to get a prenatal massage, but with the new baby needing everything, birthday shopping (DS's b-day is next month and DD's is in December) and Christmas shopping for six kids no way do I get to spend any money on myself!! I have to start shopping in August for everything to pace myself!

I couldn't think of anything...but read Angela's response of vegging out on the couch. I pretty much just do that. I take advantage of dh being home and let him do more of the work with our son that I would normally do (getting him into/out of the car, etc).

Yes, yes! I am "milking" this while I can. After all, we are growing life, we deserve a little break.
