Are you neglecting your normal hair routine (coloring, styling) because you're pregnant?
Well, I don't want to waste money coloring my hair, so it hasn't been done since February! And since I haven't colored it, I usually keep it up in a ponytail or braids!
Yeah I am...I need to get it cut and I will soon, but in terms of styling it every day...ugh. It usually just looks a mess so I put it in a ponytail and call it a day. I have very fine curly/wavy hair so it tends to need help from either a curling iron or a flat iron every morning. I have fried it because I've been impatient and used too much heat and not enough product since I RUSH to get it done now because I sleep in so late
Oh yeah, I uh ... I shower sometimes.
I haven't colored my hair in atleast 12 years. I just don't like wasting the money to upkeep it. I got it cut recently, so I'm not slacking there.
Well at least you're keeping from smelling lol!!!
Oh, my, just today I was thinking that I should get my hair done or at least dry it once and a while.....BAD!
No, I've actually added to my routine since now I have to slather oil all over my belly. My routine is pretty basic anyway so I haven't made any changes really.
All I do is put some mouse in my hair and let it air dry so it's the same when I'm pg or not. Makes for an easy morning too
I tend to be pretty extreme with my hair while I'm not working. But since I've been off now, I don't have the energy nor do I want to mess around with product lol. So it's the longest it has been since my wedding (07 and 2 days later I cut over 12inches off) My hair is usually very thick and curly and being pregnant has made it 2times as bad. My MIL keeps eyeballing me and I think if she could she'd cut it all off and make a wig.
I'm going to probably cut it all off once the baby gets here since i hate having to deal with long curly hair lol.
I didn't highlight it at all during the first trimester but I'm back on my schedule of coloring every 8 weeks or so. And I get it cut every other month or so. So I guess I'm following my normal routine. But as far as styling, I don't do much. My hair is naturally curly, so it kind of has a mind of its own.
If I color my hair I usually just color it at home. LOL I have never been to a salon and dyed my hair. And I just stick with a color that's close to my natural brown. Sometimes I just color to give it a little boost in shine. But I haven't colored it since I found out I was pregnant.
As far as styling I usually just dry it, flat iron it to make it smoother, and go. My hair is fine so it doesn't take long to accomplish this. So my hair routine is pretty much the same as always. My hair does need cut though and I was telling Bill the other day I'd like to get it chopped before Ryan gets here.
I'm like Katie, I didn't color at all in the first tri but now I'm back to getting my normal blond highlights. In fact I have an appt this thursday, which is long overdue, my roots are showing terribly. ha!
I quit coloring my hair after having DS because I just never found the time. But this summer I went back to getting highlights and just had them touched up and my hair cut on Sunday. It feels great to be back to my old look. I've even found that I take more time most days to fix my hair. Instead of just drying it and leaving it I have been curling it and styling it. It makes me feel better since some days this extra weight makes me feel frumpy.
Hahaha, right!? Yes, I have been lazy with my hair, although I don't color it and I rarely fix it bc I work at home and nobody sees me anyway. I do need a haircut badly. Thinking about trying to get in this week, but I have been so busy with dentist appts, doc appts, play dates, travel etc., I'm finding it hard to squeeze in.
I color my hair at home w/ one of the kits w/ color & highlights. I just recently found the time to color it....have to admit, Ed actually helped me (gloves & all) & he said I better not tell anyone. lol. I didn't get around to adding the highlights tho =/
I never really do anything to it...it's wavy/curly & has a mind of it's own so I just throw some spray in there & scrunch it & allow it to be. I have always been bad about getting it trimmed, but know I need to do that eventually before baby.
Hey! What's wrong with GREY?!?!?!?!
