How are you doing on your holiday shopping?

I just have to buy gifts for my DS Reagan and my DSS Logan and I'm done! I think I'm gonna go down and do the Walmart layaway thing tomorrow to make it easier on myself!

We'll have to work out a budget first and then count up the nieces and nephews. Adults are out for sure. And the kids will have to be happy with crayons and the like. I imagine we'll do it all in one big online or in-store mad rush.

I'm just praying I have enough money for all the baby stuff I will need. Christmas is kind of an afterthought right now.

Almost done. Just have my inlaws left, one more cousin (he's almost 5), and our son.

Exactly how I feel. It may sound selfish, but I'm more worried about paying for all the upcoming baby expenses than Christmas gifts for people right now. That, and I'm too lazy to start shopping for people, lol.

Our boys are done. Bella still needs something. I am just doing photo mugs for the grandparents this year. So I guess it is coming along, but I wish I was done!

And I agree about being a bit selfish this year, we need the $$$ for baby stuff and fitting an extra person in the house.

I didn't even think about this! Really the only adults to buy for are my parents... but if we're in Idaho this year over Christmas (which is where DH's family all lives) then God help us... are we going to have to buy all of them gifts as well?! I'm broke just with all 6 kids (my 3, his 2, and this 1 on the way!)... plus I have three younger brothers and sisters I totally forgot about!

I haven't even started :o I have time since I'm not working though. Trouble is I don't want to be running all around town like I did last year, so I'm thinking I might just get some nice books and chocolates for everyone or something  we need to work out a budget for it too.

Gift cards, and small toys for kids.

His family buys for everyone and my family just for kids. I wish that his family would just do for kids but no one listens to me lol.

We buy just for the nieces and nephews...adults are on there own.
We will most likely do on-line shopping b/c once this LO gets here I don't want her out with alot of people during this time of year.

I also like to give magazine subscriptions to the kids to introduce them to nature like big Backyard and Ranger Rick..they all loved them last year and it is a something they can look forward to each month to receiving. I think some kids are over whelmed by the sheer volume of stuff they receive all in one day.

Kids are done. Nieces and Nephew are done. Have to do mine and DH's parents, and DH's brother.

I am further along then I feel....

I haven't started but we are only buying gifts for our two kids, a little something for Ryan just in case he is here, and my nieces/nephews (there are 5 of them!) We usually get a $20 gift card for DH's dad and his wife and my parents. People are just going to have to understand this year. We definitely aren't worrying about DH's mom and step-dad. I think $650 in carpet is enough....lmao

This is me! I don't even know if I am going to be able to afford my maternity leave yet, & until I figure that out Christmas doesn't even exist to me!

I haven't even started Christmas shopping & don't know if I even will. It is already so pricey to get a tree, decorate, etc. I love to bake so I may just get my girls something from Santa & do up their stockings & bake for everyone else. My girls are still 5 & 3. I don't remember my Christmas when I was 5 & they have so much outside family I hardly think they will notice presents missing from mommy. I might be in the hospital anyways on Christmas. Ugh, idk.

I told Ed that he probably won't be getting anything. I'll push a baby out of my vajayjay for you....there, happy now? lol. My mom & brother will understand so I think I'm good.

Plus, I'm a procrastinator.

I've made it really clear to everyone that this year will be really small for us. Besides the financial aspect I just don't have the time or energy to do it all. With me having a scheduled csection on Dec 26th then I really don't plan to do a whole big Christmas event this year.

We buy nearly everything on amazon so we still have plenty of time to start shopping. Man, now that I think of it I may just have the gifts sent to the recipients to avoid wrapping and to avoid trying to get them there in case I have the baby early. LOL
