QOTD: Sunday

Have you gotten your baby bag yet? If so, what does it look like/what brand is it?

I'm just reusing my son Max's baby bag for Trystan. It's a Burberry... so since I paid so much for it I had better get more baby use out of it lol! I did buy a new changing pad for it because I lost the one that came with the bag, but it's super cute!

I don't have one yet. We will probably get two, one for me and one for DH, since he will take her to daycare most days. I guess I will see what I get at my shower before I buy one though.

Not to hijack the thread, but what would you say are the most important features in a bag? Lots of pockets/compartments? Roomy? etc?

no, I won't get one. I just keep a couple diapers and some wipes in my purse and some extra clothes in my car. I am lazy about diaper bags lol.

I have two. One I bought used at a baby consignment sale and it looks new. The other is my pride and joy, my friend made me one, it's pink and covered in sugar skulls, she made wet bags, wipes, and a changing pad to match. i love it and can't wait to rock it. Oh and I got a plain black one for dh.

I am re-using my vera bradley bag from Nicholas. It's blue but oh well. I think lots of pockets are key inside to keep things organized (this one has 2, just ok). Also, pockets on the outside are great, especially a little "cup holder" one for a bottle or sippy cup. And it definitely needs to have some size to it....but not too big that it won't fit under the stroller!

We usually just keep it in the car when we go places like the store or park. I only carry it inside when we are going to be waiting a while and will need some entertainment (restaurants and dr. offices mostly).

We have an Eddie Bauer diaper bag we used for our son. I still love it, so plan on re-using it since it still looks brand new.

I have DS's old diaper bag. It's a carter's. I hate it but will probably use it. It is perfectly fine and no reason to go waste money on another one!

That's generally what I do too. I do use the hospital shoulder bag if u need to pack snacks and drinks for being out all day but it's pretty small.

Important features for me would be roominess. I used the bottle packs(zippered insolated) from the hospital to put diapers and wipes in so its separated.

For me I just prefer one big pocket to put everything in. With DS I tried out several diaper bags and ended up using the free Similac one from the hospital.

My mom just bought me this Skip Hop and I'm excited to try it out. I like that it has the short straps for the stroller instead of looping the whole thing around the handles.

The Columbia backpack from babies r us. I really wanted a fancy one that my friend has (I forget the name), and while I can afford the $160 bucks, I just can't bring myself to pay that much for something like that when a $30 bag will do the same thing...
