Thread: QOTD: Thursday

If you could change one thing in your life, what would it be?

Mine would be my job. I really want to be a SAHM, or at least drop down to part time... I just can't afford it right now. My boss did say that she may be able to let me just work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday after baby comes. That would be so wonderful for me and my family... that way I can be there to take the kids to and from school Mon-Thurs, and DH is off the weekends, so I would only have to ask my mom to babysit once a week. I work on commission only, so I wouldn't be missing out on too much money, but it would still be a loss of anywhere between $100-$300 per week, just depending upon how busy we are. Still keeping my fingers crossed that DH can find something better, that way we wouldn't feel the pinch at all.

I would change how we spent money when we first got married. We thought credit cards = having "money" and we are still paying off debt for stuff we don't even own anymore. If we had been more responsible I would be a SAHM now.

My commute. I like my job but it would be awesome if I could walk or ride my bike to work instead of driving a couple of hours every day.

If I could change something, I'd make it so my parents never got divorced. It seems like after that my family was never the same. I barely even talk to my two sisters now, and I think our issues all started when our parents split up.

I would've quit my job in March.
