Totally random question, but who is your cell phone carrier? Are you happy with them?
I'm with T-Mobile, and have been for about six years. I love their customer service, but I don't like the fact that even though I have unlimited everything, with my 4G phone I have to pay an extra $10 a month to use half of the stuff on the phone (like the HBO Go app) or else it slows down my data! Unlimited is unlimited people! I was with Sprint for about four years before that. I switched because when it came time for me to upgrade my phone, Sprint was trying to make me pay full price for the upgraded phone while new customers got all of the good deals... that was enough for me to go elsewhere!!
Verizon and its awesome
Verizon here too. We had ATT up until last may. DH wanted to change and we got our first iPhones. I love my phone!
I thought ATT was good to us. We had sprint before that and their coverage any house lived in was a crapshoot. Plus their CS was ridiculous, uncooperative, and not friendly AT ALL! We had had enough!
Sprint and we've had about enough...lol Sometimes I swear I'd rather go with the phone plans from Wal-Mart. $45 a month for unlimited talk, text, and internet and an addition line is only $25 I think. And you can get the high speed phones with them as well I believe. Much better than paying an arm and a leg for what we have now and that's without internet on our phones!!
Sprint. They are having a lot of tower/ service issues in our area right now, but DH works for the company, so it's cheaper for us!
AT&T. It's all right. We live in a rural area, and do a lot of driving all over TX (which involves driving through vast amounts of emptiness), so it's the best carrier for our area/situation.
Used to use Sprint, which was great when we lived in the D/FW area, but not so good because they didn't serve the rural area we moved to. They gave us free roaming to keep us as customers, but it got too glitchy at times. Like the time there was a power outage/tornado/massive hailstorm at midnight-thirty, and I wanted to text family that we were okay, but didn't want to wake them up with an actual phone call... no, no texting on roaming. Or the time we were driving through an ice storm in the middle of nowhere and wanted to call and confirm our reservations with our hotel because we were creeping through the storm and it was 1 am... and I get a recording saying I can't complete my phone call without plugging in my credit card information, even though roaming is free. Too many of those situations cropped up, so I finally made the switch. The cellphones were our emergency/travel phones, but when they failed too many times, it was time to switch carriers. Now they're our primary phone-- we only keep our landline because we can't get DSL without it.
This is us exactly, except we switched from ATT to Verizon and got iPhones in February. I LOVE my phone and the service.
We have AT&T only because my step monster works for them and its just what we both had when we got together lol. We have iphones through AT&T I would love to switch but we're stuck in this contract for another year.
I have had practically every carrier - Telus, Rogers, Koodo, I think I had Fido for awhile, then back to Rogers, now Bell.....they all suck!!!!!! Customer service is atrocious, it's taken quite honestly 12 phone calls to get our phones set up correctly with our latest carrier and it is so frustrating. If I didn't love the iPhone so much, I'd get a cheap pay as you go just so I had a phone for emergencies. Not to mention, cell phone plans are ridiculously expensive here. I wish we had the kind of deals you can get in the US!!
Verizon. Been with them for 10 years or so! They have been great up until recently, but they seem to have fixed their problem. Can't complain about the service. Now my phone, that's a whole different story.
Last Dec I switched from Sprint to ATT just to get the iPhone. I love that phone!!! However, my service isn't the greatest but its better than Sprint was. Our house was a dead zone and we don't have a home phone so its nice to have at least one phone at the house....well, now two since DH made the switch too.
I have Verizon, but only beause it's the only service that is really reliable where I live. I haven't had any problems with it though.
Geez... I'm the lone T-Mobile loser lol...
Verizon, and I am happy with them. However our phone bill is the LARGEST bill we have besides our mortgage and health insurance premiums!!!!!!! I feel molested every time I pay that thing! $150/month for our two phones *owch* Of course we have internet, unlimited ect. but sheesh....
yep us too. We pay 142 for two phones. I hate paying the bill, but I am NOT canceling it hahaha. I absolutely love my phone and having internet on it. I would cancel the home internet first I think.
Verizon for life. Never been w/ anyone else. They are the best.
We pay about $250 a month, but that's for 3 smartphones w/ 1400 combined minutes (also get 5 or 10 friends & family, along w/ free verizon to verizon) & unlimited txt & internet that never slows down..... Oh, and insurance on them all & the verizon "new phone every 2 years" thing.
