We had cats before babies and I loved them then. I don't love them so much with my houseful of little people. Maybe we will get another when all of the kids can help take care of one.

We had a cat for 11 yrs. he passed when I was pregnant with Eli. We won't be getting any other pets until the kids can help take care of them. And then it will probably be a cat.

We have 2 cats, 1 dog( a Newfoundland ) and a turtle. Missing taking my dog out for walks- too cold out off and on and because of his size I can't walk him till I am completely healed.

My dog passed during the pregnancy. We still have my boyfriend's dog but his family is caring for her right now because it was too much with the babies (temporarily -- I super judge people who give up their dogs unless there's danger). She was attacked by a pit bull last week and has some very serious wounds (and bills).

This is me. We have a dachshund named Remi that just turned 4. He was our world until Deacon got here and now I seriously am annoyed by him 24/7.

We have a Jack Russell mix named Harley. Love her to death as do my oldest two kids. She is very protective of them. When Brynna goes outside to play in our backyard Harley is right behind her and if she sees anyone she immediately runs to Brynna and starts barking. The kids want a cat but I said no way. Not with all we have going on right now. I seriously doubt we'd even get another dog when/if something happens to Harley. Just not enough time and it isn't fair to the animal.
