Thread: Question (TMI warning)

Since this is my first pregnancy, I am totally in the dark about some things. Has anyone else experienced total dryness when trying to DTD? I have never had a problem with lubrication, but it's like a desert down there since I have been pregnant!! Also, when DH and I DTD, I felt a really strange sensation in my abdomen...maybe because my uterus is so much larger and I can feel the contractions in different places?! How is sex different for you when you're pregnant?? (If you feel comfortable sharing.)

I've honestly never had a problem becoming aroused or staying wet (lol geez this seems x rated!) but it's normal to go through these kinds of changes during pregnancy. Don't sweat it, just get some Ky lubricant and have some fun with it! It definitely feels different having sex while pregnant, as you're trying to get it on with a basketball in between you lol! I tend to feel crampy and sore right after, but it does away after a few minutes...

Same here. And we always use KY except when we were TTC....makes for a better experience Now that I am getting bigger I am more aware of my belly and it is starting to get in the way with some of our fav positions.

Yeah the contractions were a bit uncomfortable for me and lube sometimes a necessity. We're dealing with pelvic rest for the moment. The boyfriend had a dream last night that I was begging for it and he had to be insistent, "No, I won't. We can't do that until the doctors say it's ok." Hahah.

The only upside I will say, to sex during pregnancy, is for me my orgasms are 10x better than they normally are! It's incredible... maybe why I want to do it all the time LMAO!

I'm the opposite... on the wet side... but I think it was because birth control dried me out before so maybe that's all I know?! Eh, sex... I liked it with my first, but not as much with this one. Since we are on the TMI, I like oral the best right now
