New question: If you could not work in your job or field, and pursuing additional education was not a hurdle (no worrying about the extra time/money to invest ), what would be your desired job?

Hehe...I forgot there was a new released version of the movie. I first thought you meant you had not been to a movie since the 90's when the first Total Recall came out

I have this romanticized idea about being a librarian surounded by books.

I'm going through a sort of mid-life crisis of sorts when it comes to my career. I don't really know what I want to do with myself. I'd love to just be a SAHM, but lately I've also been daydreaming about starting my own business of some kind. I've been through more schooling than I care to mention and I have no desire to go back to school. Lately I've been feeling like I need to create things!!!!

Yeah, crafty things. I really love photography. I've also dreamed about making my own cloth diapers or opening up a shop that sells cloth diapers, because there is nothing like that near where I live. I could never do the Etsy or Ebay thing because I work full time and there is not enough time in the day to actually make stuff. I have also been blogging for a few years and I would love to be able to make that profitable. The bottom line is that I am kind of a big scaredy-cat and not much of a risk taker. Plus, I am the main breadwinner right now, so I can't afford to quit my job and start something like this. I also have a hard time focusing on one thing. I get bored easily. :/

A cloth diaper shop would be great especially if there isn't anything like that in your area. Or maybe you could start by giving a class in your area about the ins and outs of getting started with cloth diapering, and since you do some sewing of cloth diapers and covers maybe you could do a class about that as well. Wouldn't be a huge time commitment in theory but you would still get to feed some your creative need for now.

Buried in this thread is my previous question of what your dream job would be if money/time investment were not an obstacle? I think some haven't responded yet

Can we revive this board?? I'll throw out a question and hopefully get a response or two

Do you have a guilty pleasure tv show? You know, that show that you really don't like to admit to watching but can't help it because it pulls you in

I just noticed all my smiley faces in my previous post...crazy!

So my guilty pleasure show is probably Project Runway. I'm not a very fashion forward person nor really care about clothes in general, but the process they go through to make the clothing and the runway show at the end with the critiquing draws me in for some strange reason. Though I just removed my Season Pass from Tivo after the last season of Project Runway All Stars ended, so we'll see how long that lasts. I managed to quit watching Real Housewives about a year ago by deleting my Season Passes and it worked :P

My guilty pleasure show is probably Grey's Anatomy. I quit watching it after about 3 seasons because I got annoyed with where they were taking the story, but when I was pregnant I spent a lot of time on the couch and I decided to get caught up. Now I watch it every week.
