I got an email from her about 2.5 hours ago.Good luck Shannon!!!Well it looks like my little girl doesn't want to wait for the c-section date on the 22nd.I was laying on the couch and felt a weird pop- at about 12:50 am, thought it was baby moving funny! Felt a little trickle so stood up to go to the bathroom- and gush of water!Hubby was in the city for xmas party- gave him a call- he is on his way home to take me to the hospital. My kids are both having sleep overs- so grandma is also headed out to watch the kids.I will update when I canupdate 3Just a quick note- c-section was done around 5am- she is 7lbs exact! That is all the info I have right now- we were out of surgery at 6:15. Unfortunately when hubby was at the nursery he had some issues- so he is on emerg. So haven't seen baby since- hopefully in the next hour. My mom is with me right now so they said they will be able to bring her.Crazy early morning- not too sure what all is happening with DH- they may want to monitor him for a few days.No name .yet- Hubby is still in emerg. I havn't seen him since 6am. They are admitting him to cardiac unit. Once they get him there they have a portable unit that he can be hooked to and hopefully come visit. We have been able to text- wish he could be here with me and babyHere are the details for baby Girl I didn't get told earlier: time born 5:16am. 7lbs and 19inches. She is a great baby- barely heard a peep from her. Nursing is going good. She is a thumb sucker!
Update 3
We are doing well, I am more sore today, walked around a bit but maybe walked a bit too much cause I got a bit dizzy. My mom and I went up a floor to visit Andrew. Once we got there- they showed up to take him for ecg and stress test. So we went back to my room. His nurse was able to bring him to my room for a short little visit last night. And it was short but at least he was able to come down. He is a bit upset that he hasn't been with us- but what can you do. At least we were at the hospital.
Basically the short of it- had 2 fainting/passing out episodes in and by the nursery. May have had a seizure also. Once in emergency- they monitored him and he had another episode. He couldn't really remember where the heck he was, more people I his room then. Apparently during this episode his heart stopped beating for approx 30 second or so. They did cpr on him too.
Test ended up good- they called it a syncepal episode. ( I will google this when I get home- internets ucks here)If this happens again he needs to seek medical attention immediately or he can go to a gp and investigate further. Sometimes lights bother him so the OR might have triggered a reaction.
Test came back normal- so he is being discharged shortly. Then we can spend some time together. His parents will go get our kids and bring them down after supper. Relief and not as there is not really an answer. But he?s good and is free to go!
I may get discharged tomorrow! Which I thought it would be Wednesday or thursday- so that's good news.
I hope everyone on the board is doing well and thanks for thinking of my Dh. I will post our birth story eventually lol I think I need to wrap my head around this crazy birth story!
This no name baby may end up a Sophia. Dh loves the name. Not my first pick but we can handle it!
