So my little booger decided that being head down is not cool and he turned transverse!! I tell you it was the most painful thing I have ever felt. When he was moving I was over at my parents house and I guess the look on my face freaked my mom out and she asked what was wrong. I lifted my shirt and we literally watched him turn. I really thought he was going to pop out of my skin he was sticking out so far. Since he's moved I feel him below my belly button on my sides. I really hope he turns back head down (although the pain of that is freaking me out!) because I would like to avoid a c-section and I won't let them try to turn the baby manually. I have an ultrasound next week so I am sure that will confirm that he is indeed in a bad position.
I had Jacob decide to turn breech while we were traveling. I think I was about 32 weeks too it was god aweful.
Your baby has plenty of time turn again. Maybe this time it won't be so bad.
Eli was transverse at 36 weeks. My OB had a student tagging along for the appt and made a guinea pig of me. I didn't mind. How else was the guy going to learn what a baby transverse feels like at that stage. I don't remember when he turned head down but it must have been while I was sleeping so It was not painful.
