Thread: the shopping has begun

So, since we found out on Wednesday we're having a little girl, the shopping has begun. Please do not think I am crazy.

My sister and I went shopping last night. She is a shop-a-holic (way worse than I will ever be!) and had already gone the night before to get us a gift. This is what she gave us. The things in the box are blank notecards...she figured we could use them for thank-you's. I will probably add a little something to them using my scrapbooking supplies. She is always randomly buying things for our son...looks like it won't be ending anytime soon.


I am a knitter, so these are the hats I have made for her! Not specifically for her, but it seems I'm always working on a cute girly hat and saving them for friends babies. Well, now I'll just save them for my baby! I have a lot more to make -- especially in the really itty bitty sizes for those first few weeks. I also probably have more that will work for her that our son wore. Our son has always loved to wear hats -- so I'm going to go ahead with the theory that this little girl will, too.



And what we bought. My sister bought probably close to half of this stuff, so it wasn't just me. AND, to make it seem a little better, we got EVERYTHING at 40% off, PLUS an additional 25% off that.







I'm going to embellish the prefolds with fabric to use as burp cloths


This is going to be way too much fun.
