    Default Siblings Look Different?

For those of you with a couple of kids already, how different do they look from each other? My boyfriend and I are so different looking that we're fully expecting one dark baby and one light baby or other really obviously different features. Did that happen with your kids?

You never really know. My son Max and my DD are both from my current husband, and he looks just like DH and DD looks just like me... although when they're side by side they look just like each other! So it's a craps shoot... I'm really wondering what our third baby together (this one of course!) will look like!

It's hard to really guess accurately and it's all a matter of opinion if kids look alike and all. I think my kids look alot alike but one of the three youngest looks different than the 2 that look alike.

My BILs kids all look different to me. The first has sandy blonde straight hair and close set eyes generally small facial features. The second is a girl and she has dark semi curly/wavy hair big eyes and big smile. The third is bleach blonde curly curly hair! Large eyes but smaller other facial features. You wouldn't pick them out to be siblings in a larger group of kids.

My daughter somewhat resembles her brother. But they are only half-siblings. They look more alike now than if you compare their baby pictures. My step-son is the spitting image of his Daddy and my daughter looks just like me. My 2 sisters and I look nothing alike! I am 5'4" brown hair blue eyes, my next sister is 5'9" blonde hair blue eyes, and my baby sister is 5'1" brown hair, brown eyes. We are all different builds as well. Put us together and you'd never pick us as sisters. I am interested to see who Ryan resembles when he is born.

See, my oldest is from my first husband, and I don't think he looks anything like my other two... maybe a smidge like DD, but that's because she looks just like me. DH has two sons from a previous marriage, and they are night and day from each other. Logan, the oldest, looks just like Donovan, so Logan and our son Max look a lot alike (Logan is blonde haired, blue eyed like Max is). Ian, the younger one, looks just like his mom, darker skin, dark hair, brown eyes. So they look opposite from one another just like my Max and Liberty do. This is why I can't wait to see what this baby looks like, or rather, who he looks like. I really want to do another 3D U/S, but the cheapest package is $75 and I just can't bring myself to spend that much (especially when DH keeps whining, "We'll see him for the rest of his life in a few months!"). Ugghhh his comments drive me nuts...

I think it all depends on how strong the genes are! I have seen siblings that are identical, just different ages... there is no doubt they are related. My sisters and I look nothing alike! Their kids too aren't very similar looking to each other.

I'm curious to see if Nick and Luke look similar

My sisters and I look rather different from each other. I'm the blonde one. This is from my sister's wedding this summer. I was 20 weeks preg. my brothers definitely look alike.

I have two dd's right now. One looks just like dad (my ex) & one looks just like me. The crazy part is that the one that looks like me, looks like me now & not what I looked like as a baby.

I keep wondering what this girl will look like since it will be my first & only w/ my SO. And I'm adopted so it's generally just a toss up. I told my SO that the girl could come out a different color & I would have no idea where it came from. lol
