Default slacker alert: anyone else not called the doc yet?

man im just so lazy! well,, i take that back. I hate doing errands with a 10 month old who does not like the car. I called 2 weeks ago to my PCP to go in and get an hcg so i can get referred to my midwife. I STILL have not gone in yet to get it done. I have no appointments scheduled yet for this pregnancy.

DH has the afternoon off on Monday, so I can go to the lab without babyface. It's making me worry a little bit that i've told people but have not had it confirmed yet! although ive had multiple positive tests, so im sure its "real."

anyone else still yet to set up any appointments?

I'll be calling the day I get a BFP!!

But my work schedule is nearly impossible to work around, so who knows when I'll actually get into see my doc when the time comes. He's suppose to prescribe progesterone when I get my BFP but I don't know how I'm going to pick it up unless SO does it (we work opposite shifts). Majority of doc offices in my city are closed by 4-5pm and I'm not done work until after 5:30pm - 6pm everyday.

I also meant to say its probably not too big of a deal since most Docs wont see you until at least 8 weeks unless you are having issues.

I did go in for some betas, but that's all. I haven't even scheduled my first appointment which is going to be at 8 weeks. This might sound crazy, but I feel like I'm going to jinx myself if I call. I will probably have to this week though so I can get in not too far after 8 weeks!

Oh, and with my other 2 pregnancies I didn't go in to confirm anything. I called the day I got my BFP with my first and they said they don't confirm around here. If you've gotten multiple BFP's at home you're pregnant. They only do the betas if they feel there's a need to (bleeding or something).

I haven't called yet, but I'm not a slacker . I just know my dr won't see me until 8 weeks anyway so there is no point in calling yet. I'll call in a week or so though. The ran betas with my daughter because I had some early bleeding, but generally they don't so no reason to go early.

Yeah i haven't done much of anything! I saw my GP, and all he did was make me pee on another stick, lol. He's referred me to another GP who still does deliveries, or I can choose a midwife. Haven't done that yet though. He also ordered a routine blood workup, which I go in for Tueaday morning. Spent half an hour waiting in the lab this morning though before being sent home because I didn't fast waste of my weekend morning!

Looks like a glucose test on the form....me and the lady at the lab think he might have just checked off the wrong box because he said to me when he gave me the lab form that I don't need to fast or anything, just go in when I can. He even told me to go in around 2pm when there isn't much of a wait at the lab so he certainly couldnt have been expecting me to fast!

I think I might call tomorrow and double check, see if he really requires it.
