The OB laughed when I asked if I was bigger than done and his response was "OH YEAH!" I've got seven and a half pounds of baby, an extra placenta and an extra amniotic sac. You know how twins have less room to grow so they often end up a little small for their age at birth? Well, someone has to be the exception. I'm 31 weeks with babies measuring 32 and 33 weeks (this is all in comparison to the average singleton.) Holy crap, no wonder I'm so huge. There's no way they're going to let me go to 38 weeks. We'll schedule the section next time (vaginal birth is now completely out of the question) and it'll be in a month or so. He even said he'd be perfectly comfortable with them coming out in just another couple of weeks. Getting to the office is a big pain and I'm doing fine so I don't need to go in for another two weeks.
