Good idea Ashley, I will pick up some wagon wheels or puffs. I did notice he likes food better when he can stick it in his mouth himself. I have cut pieces of pear, apple, banana and water melon and he will stick them in his mouth but not really eat any of it. On a happy note, purees or mashed foods are going better for the past 2 days. I've started feeding him at the table when we eat and he is much more interested then. I also started distracting him with toys and sneaking spoonfuls of rice cereal or mashed banana in his mouth. He doesn't seem to mind it as much anymore. He actually swallows the food now and eats a decent amount (maybe an ounce of mashed food). I think the more he gets used to the texture the better it will go. He still won't open wide for the spoon but that may come down the road. At least he doesn't get upset anymore.
