    Default Sore tummy...

So little girl is trying to claw her way out of my belly or something for the last couple of days. Lots of movement for long periods of time, that is almost painful with all her jab, pokes and kicks. I swear she kicked at my pretty consistently from 12:30 to 4:00 today, and now my tummy feels so sore... mostly along the top of the bump. Do you think that is normal?

    Probably normal...

I have days when I feel all stretched out and I figure I'm just growing again.

I've had days like that, usually when she is sitting super low in my pelvis and keeps kicking the same spot. I've also had says where I'm sore all over like I've done a million sit-ups, which I just chalk up to growing pains!

I would mention it to your Ob but it sounds normal to me. It just sounds like baby stretching you out and making room for herself!

She's probably just flip-flopped in a funky position where you're feeling everything! I bet she'll move again and it will get back to her usual movements. Some days I feel movements way stronger (and sometimes painful) and other days it's just light movements.

Totally normal! I know a girl who got bruised ribs from her baby's kicking. Talk about painful.

Jacob permanently bruised my left lower rib. Even after pregnancy if I bent over just right it would pop out (sort of) and owie!

This little one will have very active periods and I wonder how many limbs baby has

Yep, I've had that this week as well. She was kicking me right above my belly button in the same spot all day. By the middle of the day it was really sore - like I had been punched.

My bottom one wiggles around a lot more so the kicks are in different places every day but always really low (got a big cervix jab yesterday). The top one, however, is all stretched out sideways and has been kicking the same darned spot at the base of my ribs on the left side for FOREVER.

I know what you mean! And sometimes I swear she is rubbing/scraping up against scar tissue or something from my c-section - it HURTS on the inside. Hard to explain. I don't remember feeling that with my first 2 so that is why I have this theory that it is c-section scar.
