I am not sure I would even call it spotting....but yesterday I wiped and had mucus tinted a brownish pink. VEry little of it....and it happened several times. I think I am having mild cramping...today was my cousin's wedding so I have been very busy getting ready. I am wondering all of it is just from all my activity and being on my feet so much??? I feel like I should wait til tomorrow to call instead of going to the ER....but I lost a baby at this point about 5 years ago....middle of my 10th week, so it sort of freaks me out more than usual. Do you think I even need to call??? I am going to rest this evening and see how I feel. Maybe just having my feet up will help??? Am I crazy to wait? Also I have an appointment this Friday with my OB.
I have experienced this twice now, on two different occasions and a few weeks apart. I did some online reasearching about it and I don't think it's anything to worry about. The nurse at my doctor's office even told me this week not to worry too much even if I do see a little spotting, particularly if I recently DTD. However, it might be a good idea to call your doc to be on the safe side and to ease your mind.
I don't really have any advice except to say to go drink a bunch of water and rest as much as possible on your right side. When I had some spotting with my dd, that was the advice I was given from the nurse at my drs office.
I've been having this ever since I got my bfp. I wear a pantyliner everyday, and never have had any spotting on there. It's only *sometimes* when I wipe, some pink tinged stuff mixed in with lots of stretchy cervical mucous. And I've been having a TON of CM. Sorry --- way TMI, but you get the point.
Every time I see it I worry since I had a m/c last summer. I hate it. It seems to come after I lift our 30+ pound son, so I'm trying REALLY hard to NOT lift him unless absolutely necessary. Hopefully you just overdid it, and there will be no more.
Mine comes sometimes 1-2 times a day, then I go a week with nothing, then maybe 1x, then a couple days of nothing. Very sporadic.
I have been having this for the past 2.5 weeks too. Mine is mostly very light brown, and sporadic, like Ashley's. I have had a couple of times when it was orangey rust colored or brownish pink. I have had 3 ultrasounds and everything is fine with the baby...my dr. does not know why I am spotting. It is kind of annoying but my dr. is not too worried about it. I would just continue to rest as much as you can, and I would give your dr. a call tomorrow because I think most dr's will tell you to call if you have any type of cramping or spotting. They can tell you what to do from there. Hope it gets better!! (HUGS)

It doesn't sound like much of anything to worry about. Brown is always better than red, and you're not having any type of cramps either. Just for some reassurance I would call your OB tomorrow and let them know what's going on, but I doubt they'll have you go into their office. Just drink lots of fluid and try to take it easy. Your uterus is still strecthing as well to accomodate baby, so it might just be that, especially if this is your first baby.

I had the same thing happen 2 weeks ago. I was scared and went to the ER (my GP's advice, hadn't started with my OB yet). They did an ultrasound which showed everything was fine, as well as an internal exam that showed my cervix was "irritated". No further elaboration why that could be. They told me to take it easy for the next few days.
A week later I had an appointment with my OB and she said she wasn't worried about it at all. She said I don't even have to call her if it's just brown and just a little. If I need a pad and have cramps with spotting, then to call. I would likely call her anyways because I would probably panic (as usual).
Please don't worry too much (I know easier said than done)!!!
