    Unhappy Stuck in bed again...

So over the past three days I've been feeling better and we have had a little outing each day. One night we drove around looking at Christmas lights, took the baby to our jobs to show her off, to my grandparents house, and went to a post partum counseling appointment. All things I can do sitting down and without much walking or strain. All my stitches were feeling okay and while my anemia is still bad I felt like I had enough energy to be up.

Well I guess I overdid it. Yesterday on the drive home I started to feel uncomfortable and thought I might actually be leaking over my pad. Got inside and discovered (TMI warning...) I had soaked through a heavy pad, my underwear, my pants, and it was still coming!! I hopped in the bath and it didn't stop. We paged ,y midwife and she gave me five more minutes for it to stop before she would have sent me to the ER. Well thankfully it did slow and I didn't have to go. But now I am back in bed and not allowed to get up and walk around a bunch or carry her or lift anything etc etc. I'm so discourages, just when I thought I was on the mend. I'm really weak today again after losing all that blood too. I just want to be normal again!!

Hilary that is so scary. Did your midwife say when she thinks you will be better again? I hope it's soon.

She said it might have been a one time thing. I hope so bleeding has really slowed since so I honestly hope that was the end of the worst of it!!

**HUGS** My anemia is keeping me extremely fatigued. Taking a shower will exhaust me for hours. I am sorry that you're feeling so horribly and are so limited in what you can do. It's very frustrating. I am glad your bleeding subsided without having to go to the hospital.

Yikes! I hope a days rest helps.

I thought I was done bleeding the other day but I carried my 2y/o upstairs and I filled a pad just an hour later. Ugh!

Oh Hilary, I'm so sorry you're going through all of this. My first baby was the same way... I bled a lot. I hope that you start to feel better today so that you can enjoy your baby's first Christmas!

I am so sorry! My doctor told me the bleeding might happen if I do too much. Ive only been out twice, both times for doctor's appointments and a quick trip to babies r us after, and I felt like crap after both. even ran a low grade fever after one trip. Definitely take it easy. I really started feeling better about 2 weeks pp but still take it very easy. I know its tempting to finally get back to normal but really do try to lay around and get rest.

i was also told take it easy- the more you do- it is most likely that your flow will be really heavy. the nurse said that's major sign that you are doing to much. So relax, take it easy !!

I have a hard time just sitting there, but as soon as I start doing too much - I can really feel it. I almost went out with hubby today to pick up a couple things but then thought an realized that I would never make it and exhaust myself. So trying my hardest to stay put with my feet up. Enjoying all the cuddle time with Sophia makes my day pass by- I can't get enough of her
