Such a stalker

I feel like such a stalker on these boards. I get so beyond bored at work and just keep clicking refresh waiting for someone to post or reply to something new. This is all that I have to do at work because I am a private home care nurse and all my patient does is sleep really...
I even went on November 11 just so I had something more to look at. I figured it's definately a possibility to go in November if I have the rough due date of Dec. 5th. Anywho... We should def. amp this board up!! Not alot of people post, but it says tons are viewing. What are you guys doing for the weekend? Craving? Worrying about as FTM's? Wanting to share about your fams? Post some belly pics!! anything!
Otherwise I'll just look like a crazy woman being the only one replying and posting haha Biggrin

Lol I'm with you, I really only post when I'm bored at work (sorry, but at home I'm just too busy with my 3 kids and DH!). Seeing as today is my Monday, I'm done with my weekend! But I agree that more people should post! The last time I started a new thread only 1 person replied!

I agree. We are testing, and my role is watching the hallway (no, really!) I check and check.... It will be worse when summer break rolls around!

I'm at work too...it's the only time I have free time besides once Nicholas goes to bed at night.

Worries- I'm worried about 2 kids and how DH and I will handle them. Right now DH and I "switch off" sometimes to give each other a break and just relax for 30 or so minutes so its going to be sad when that goes away for a while. I am really excited about Nicholas having a built in play buddy though once baby gets a little older Smile

I totally agree. We are so stressed with just one that I don't know how it's going to be with another. It's a scary thought. And I agree with the built in buddy. Braiden LOVES little kids and babies and will sit for hours with them. So I'm excited for him to have a companion.

I can't really post from work, but I have all the time in the world when I get home.

Life is pretty exciting for me right now. We just made an offer on a house and it was accepted by the seller. The best part is that the house had recently had some damage to the roof due to a bad hail storm that we had here, so the seller's insurance is going to pay to put a brand new roof on the house before we close!

My DH just had a phone interview for a new job today and he will have a second one with a panel soon. This job could potentially be a lot more money and may open some doors for other things he'd like to pursue.

My nausea and food aversions seem to be subsiding, but I'm a little concerned about this 10 week teaser that you all were talking about in another thread. I'm worried that it will come back with a vengeance in a few days.

I finally have my first prenatal appointment tomorrow. Can't wait for that!

I don't want to freak you out, but I swear when I had my second child, it was like I went from one kid to four! It reminds me of that old Bill Cosby stand up (it's called "Bill Cosby Himself") where he says that if you only have one kid you're not a real parent lol! It's only to say that having just one is SOOOO much easier compared to more than one... they don't have anyone to fight with! Blum 3

We really need to do some more threads that are OT and just getting to know you type stuff.

Our weekend was good. My (17 year old) sister spent it with us, so my kids were thrilled. We went swimming yesterday, but it was TOO cold for me. lol.

I just restarted the Harry Potter series so that will keep me occupied for a bit so that I don't sit here and refresh over and over :p.

I didn't think the transition to two was hard. I loved it. Once dd got to be 7 months or so, it gave ds someone to play with. They play together all day. Sure, they fight A LOT.. but I don't find it harder than 1. I was really worried about that while I was pregnant with dd, but it wasn't hard for us at all.

I'm a little worried about this as well. All day I think "ok, how will I get ready in the mornings? How hard is getting into work/daycare going to be? How will I get a baby fed while DS is sitting there needing things? How, how, how!"

I went to visit a friend that has a 6 week old and a child my DS's age. Let's just say I left there feeling even more concerned!

Really, try not to worry. It isn't going to be as bad as you fear. It is an adjustment, but remember that during those first few weeks the baby does sleep a lot. This will give you time to rest and spend some one on one time with your older child. All of those nap while baby naps opportunity are a little harder to have, but it is honestly not as bad as you are thinking it will be. It all comes together and once you get a routine of some sort going, it will get easier too.
