So Ryan has been fussy again for 2 days, crying a lot, drooling like crazy and stuffing his fists in his mouth. Today was the worst - he just kept crying. I checked and there is a small white dot on his bottom left gumline. It is really tiny and I can barely feel it, so I am not sure if it is a little cyst or a tooth. I gave him some tylenol and the fussing stopped within 20 minutes. I think he might really be teething!! He is only 3 months old.
Elle, sounds exactly like Vivian! She has 2 little white dots on her gumline and I asked her Ped about it at 2 months. (They've been there a long time!) The Ped said it was "whatever those little white cyst-like things are" and not a tooth. But, Idunno. They're still there. Fists in mouth all.the.time. Drooling, fussy, happy when I hold a cold teething toy there, etc. I still think it's a tooth.
Elaina is teething for sure. Drooling, chewing, hands in mouth, toys in mouth, likes a cold washcloth or cold teething toy, pulling on her ears, fussy for no apparent reason sometimes....and she will even pull her pacifier to the side so she can chew it. I asked her doc and he said it sounds like teeth. So early though!!! Poor babies!
Ryan has the drooling and chewing on his hands thing down. He even likes to chew on his bottle nipples when he is about to finish his bottle. Brynna didn't get a single tooth until she was 10 months old. I thought she would be toothless forever. Now it seems Ryan is going to get them early. I swear these kids couldn't be more different if they tried.
Trystan has been drooling like crazy for a few weeks, but thankfully he's not been fussy at all. He just gnaws on his fists all of the time and soaks through his bibs! No sign of teeth yet, although he is biting me now when he's done nursing, so now I have to pay attention to when he's done drinking because he will hang on my boob and attempt to soothe his gums by biting me!!
Same here.... My little guy drools constantly and loves to put his fists in his mouth. He fusses off and on all day. My daughter cut her first tooth at 4 months... She had all her teeth by her one year checkup!!!! These babies are growing soooo quickly!!!!!
