My "little" guy is not so little!! His head is measuring two weeks early and his estimated weight is already 5lbs 11ozs!! He is no longer transverse (thank goodness) and he is head down and engaged into my pelvis. He was so far down the ultrasound tech couldn't even see his face. She said he is literally ready to come out. As much as I'd like to see him I want him to stay put for at least 4 more weeks so he will be full term. My doctors appointment isn't until next week due to my work schedule so it'll be interesting to see what he says. I hope he says he'll want another ultrasound around 36 weeks to see how much he has grown. I was a little disappointed that we couldn't see his face at all. The only thing we could see was his hair! And boy there was alot of it!!
2 weeks - WOW! Its amazing me to read all these updates and to think that several of our Dec babies will be here in the next week or two or three. Crazy!
My girl is the same way - so far down and with her face buried. I'll post her "face shot" so you can see what we saw yesterday. We haven't really seen her face since about 16 weeks because she stays so low and hidden.
YAY JESSICAH!! How exciting =D I can't believe it!!
It's so crazy! You are the END of the month.... I have been looking at your ticker, milestones, etc to judge my own pregnancy since I'm a week behind. YIKES!!
Just out of curiosity, is it normal for everyone to have u/s this late? I don't recall getting any until stress tests once Phoenix went past her edd.

Here it's normal to get an ultrasound later in the pregnancy to check size, position, fluid levels, etc. I think it's crazy how every place does things differently. And Jules for me the heartburn thing was not true. I have had very little heartburn this pregnancy! My daughter was head down from 30 weeks on but she wasn't nearly as big as Ryan measured. She was always right on track! It worries me about his "big head" because I had some trouble getting Brynna out and needed the assistance of the vacuum. However, I was induced with cervadil and I had swelling in my birth canal so that could have been the issue. I would just like to not have a repeat of the massive tearing that occurred with her so his head circumference scares me.
