Is anyone else having a hard time drinking water? It seems like it sits in my stomach wrong and gives me indigestion. I feel like I am dehydrated because I avoid drinking while at work.
I have tried the flavor packets and that gets me to drink maybe 2 16 oz bottles of water but I can't drink more. I used to be able to drink 64 oz while at work and then more at home. Now I am struggling to get in my 2 bottles for the whole day. Soda is working...but isn't very good for you compared to water. So I have been drinking diet sprite and my 1 diet dr. pepper per day. I drink 1 glass juice but I don't want to drink much more for fear of gaining weight in a bad way
Have you tried sparkling water? I have been drinking that. It helps with the nausea and it has no sugar.
I struggle to drink enough during the day too and I get so thirsty at night and then I have to pee 2-3 times during the night, uhg.

I *think* I have been drinking enough, but I know what you mean about it sitting weird in your stomach. If I drink a lot at once it's like it takes forever to leave my stomach. I would so much rather drink diet coke but I don't. I don't have any suggestions other than the flavor packets that you already drink. Or maybe try the Gatorade G2 stuff that has very little sugar to help keep you hydrated?
Have you tried mixing water with juice? My favorite right now is 6oz of water with 2oz of lemonade!

I have almost always disliked water. However, here lately sometimes a glass of ice cold water is the only thing to quench my thirst. But it has to have ice in it and be really, really cold before I can even attempt to drink it. And that one glass does me enough. Usually only way I can choke down water is to add the lemonade flavor packs. I could probably drink 5 waters a day if I had the flavor packs. I do still have to have my one Pepsi a day. I need the caffeine or I get a really bad headache. But I have cut back so much!
I know what you mean. I have gotten so much better in the past couple of weeks, but up until then I was having the hardest time- it felt like the water was just sitting in my stomach like cement, ugh. Gatorade and lemonade (straight) really helped me. Hopefully this stage will pass for you- it wasn't until I hit 14 weeks or so that I really could drink water like I should (that is when my nausea went away). HUGS!

I had issues with the water sitting funny a couple weeks ago, and now that's gone...but I have a hard time feeling thirsty and remembering to drink. I can force myself to gulp down a bunch but I tend to just forget, even if I have my water right with me. It's just unappetizing! I think I will try some flavour packages too.
Water is not appetizing to me right now, it tastes off for some reason. I can only drink it when it's really cold with ice in it. My way around it is to buy big bottles of sparkling water and mix each glass with about 1/3 glass juice, usually some tropical fruit juice mix. That way it keeps down calories and sugars but definitely doesn't taste like water.
