We must have some birthdays that...

...have arrived or are coming up soon. Hard to believe we have two year olds now! Any big plans or parties?

We are doing a smaller party this time around (about 10 people including us) since I've hit third trimester and don't feel like decorating a lot or preparing food for a large group, and especially don't feel like cleaning up after it too. We are taking DS on a short train ride to visit Santa this weekend as part of his birthday present - the kid is crazy about trains and Thomas the Tank Engine.

We had DS's birthday party yesterday! 5 kids and 10 adults - it was fun! We kept things real low key because I'm tired Wink so we bought most of the food. I did make a cake that I decorated as a ladybug, which was quite popular! Can't believe they are 2 already...

Good job on the cake! I haven't decided if I will bake or do store bought yet. The train ride was fun but very cold - the temperature was in the low 20's and the train cars were not heated. DS loved visiting with Santa this year compared to last year when he cried. He actually climbed back on the guy's lap when we had lifted him off after taking pictures Smile

Hi ladies,

Evelyn's birthday is coming up this Saturday and we are doing a train ride too. They have a Polar Express train ride locally, so we'll see how it goes. We had her party last weekend and we also went very low key, with about 10 guests. We got her a play kitchen and lots of accessories to go with it.
