Went a little crazy this weekend...

So we were super motivated I guess, and ended up putting together the crib, the dresser, the toy shelves... and doing a little shopping. We went to the Carter's store, and everything in the store was 40% off and all their summer clothes were on clearance, so...

This is the result of this weekend!

We still have lots of work to do, but that felt like incredible progress!

awww! Love the baby girl clothes!

You must live in a warm climate! My little man won't be out of long sleeves until he Mid-July here! Summer clothes are 9-month size for us!

My DH is in total nesting mode too, which is HUGELY helpful. We are also looking to get the house on the market in October, so we are getting it put together.

Orange clearance tags = awesome!

Yes, NM has a warm/mild climate. It is usually pretty hot by mid-April. Even if we move by then, it will still be warm enough for summer clothes in June when the baby is 6 months old, so the summer stuff is all 6-9 months, and the warm stuff is all 3 months.

Haha Hilary! Our nursery was a total storage dump with weight bars and dumbells until this weekend. Wink

So adorable!!! I just love baby girl clothes. I feel like I am having a crisis as I am finding out I don't like baby boy clothes as much as I did my baby girl's stuff....lol I love scoring a good sale and honestly most of my kids' stuff comes from sales. I guess I am just frugal.

That's so great! The nesting stage definitely hasn't hit me yet... maybe it's because the baby's room is currently DH's mancave, filled to the brim with superhero action figures, superhero posters, and about $100,000 (and that's not an exageration) worth of comic books. Until he gets all of that crap out of there (and unfortunately moves it to our room, as there's no room anywhere else!) I'm kind of stuck. I don't even know where to begin... I'm assuming painting the walls would come first, if I can find colors that match the crib set that I registered for (praying that I get the crib set, as it costs as much as the freakin' crib does!!)... I'm tired just thinking about it lol...

This is me down to the man cave, superhero action figures, movie posters and $100,000 worth of comic books!

Awesome!! You got some great stuff. My favorite is the the yellow and pink striped sleeper w/the little bugs for feet. So cute! Nursery looks great too!
