Thread: 37.5 weeks and 3 centimeters dilated!

Also found out that my group strep did come back positive. Ugh. But the doc just said that whenever I arrive at the hospital that they would just get me some antibiotics. She didn't seem concerned at all.

My blood pressure is a little higher than normal and I lost weight over the last two weeks. Crazy! Lil girl is looking to be over 7 lbs already! I just need her to stay in there one more week--or 10 more days would be even better so I can finish this semester. Yikes! So much to do!

You look amazing Jamie! I'm sorry about the GBS but as you said, it should just be antibiotics and nothing else to think about. Hopefully the BP was just a fluke. Did you have any BP issues in previous pregnancies? I hope that this little lady stays put for the next 10 days so you can get through the semester. It's awesome that you've already got those first few centimeters out of the way.

I couldn't imagine school and pregnancy at this point, you're a rockstar!

Nope, no problems with BP in previous pregnancies at all so it might be a fluke. Could be related to the stress of trying to finish out the semesters. I have SOOOO much to do. I want to pull my hair out! Full time school, 3 kids, pregnancy, and a job are a lot to deal with, that's for sure!!

Jamie, you look great! Hooray for progress...but, for your sake, I hope lil miss bakes for 10 more days. I completely agree with Mia, with everything you have going on AND being prego, you def ARE a rockstar!!!

and now I'm bleeding some and it's kind of lumpy (TMI!). This is my first cervical check with this pregnancy so maybe that's what caused it. I don't remember having bleeding with my other pregnancies. EEK!

Oh my! How are you feeling today?? I totally agree with every above, SUPER MOM indeed! Most days I *need* a nap or I'm a goner. You look beautiful, btw.

How are you feeling? I bled w/my checks but it was always brown and never lumpy. Maybe some things are happening???

Thanks Marie! I am feeling pretty good this morning! I was so sure that last night would be the night that I packed a hospital bag!! At least that is done now... LOL. I still have some spotting but it's lighter than it was yesterday. I am still having lots of BH contrax and cervical twinges but no labor yet.

I have been working hard on my senior thesis paper--about 7 pages done of 25. ack. At least that's some progress but not enough! I'm off to school today and I'm going to have to sit in the desk and chair intended for disabled students since I don't fit in the regular desks anymore. Oh well, better than trying to squeeze into the other desks and being uncomfortable for 4 hours!
