I have been removed from bed rest so yes I went shopping. Couldn't sleep anyways so went to home depot and target.. I got Xmas decor items and pajamas for the family. I did most of ds Xmas gifts online this weekend. I was amazed at how most places were waving shipping fees.

Although - I did hit an Old Navy Cyber Sale this weekend for 30% off of a nursing dress that I can wear for Christmas events. It's just a black wrap dress (really wanted it in navy, but they didn't have my size). Got it for a steal and got some clothes for DD while I was at it.

I usually go Black Friday shopping, but I decided sleep was WAY more important this year. I didn't see any deals that I was dying to have either, so that made it okay. I did order some stuff from Bath & Body Works over the weekend, but that's the only deal I took advantage of. I was also going to order from Aeropostale for DD today, but the shipping charges were as much as the items I was buying. My friend was headed to town and offered to go for me, so I opted for that instead--so grateful for her!

I do not ever go Black Friday shopping, but I do a lot of online shopping. This year, the online deals seemed to be at least as good as or in some cases even better than in-store deals! Between the Tuesday before Thanksgiving and Cyber Monday, I got all of my shopping done online!!! I feel like I got some great deals. I got my son a 32 inch LED TV (normally $299) for $147. I also got him a PS Vita--a Playstation portable gaming console--(normally $249) for $179.99. These were both from Amazon so no tax and free 2 day shipping!! I got a bunch of smaller things for my girls. I got in on some of the Barbie sales that were going on at Kohl's online like some items that retailed for $39 were only $16.99! And the Monster High pajamas and robe that I got were 60% off. I finished my shopping at zulily because I had a store credit with them so I got my youngest a fort-building set (poles and things she can connect together to make a play fort. It came with a pink cover or she can use blankets or whatever), some princess Legos, a fairy dress up set, some clothes and hair accessories, and... I can't remember what else exactly! LOL But I think I did pretty well as far as deals go. DH and I decided not to get each other presents this year; although, I did get him a few things from Amazon just to have something to open that day. Smile I got him a French press for coffee, some new coffee mugs, Homeland (the series) on BluRay, and the movie In Time.

I am not buying much for this LO. I got her a few outfits and socks and some bath toys. I even bought a bathtub but I'm sure we'll use that before Christmas.

I was really disappointing with the ADs this year. They only seemed to focus on electronics and nothing else. Since no one in my family needs electronics, I didn't do much shopping. I did get DS2 a sweet second hand FisherPrice easel/art center for $5!!! (He's my artist) So I def have to brag about that. Wink I found a lot of good (but not great) deals online instead. Meh.

Oh! Almost forgot, Kristy, PLEEEEEASE come to my home and help me gift wrap if your all done with yours. PUUUUL-ease?!? Biggrin :D LOL
