Ok, fess up, what have you gained so far? Me? (gulp) I have gained 16-17lbs. Eeeeep! I think it's time for this mama to break out the pregnancy workout DVDs.

I had my appointment this past week. I'm at 11 lbs of weight gain. I expect much more. I'm already swelling and retaining water..
I WIN!! LOL I have you all beat... I've gained over 20 lbs. I stopped keeping track because it was just too depressing. I go to the doc on Wednesday and I REALLY hope she doesn't say anything about it. I had a very restrictive diet before I was pregnant and I was very lean, but now I've switched to the seafood diet; rather, the SEE FOOD diet because if I see it, I eat it! LOL So I'm gaining weight all over but I'm trying not to be too hard on myself about it. I do much better restricting myself to purely healthy, all-natural, low sugar foods when I'm not pregnant so I'll get back to that in a few months or so.
Noooo...truly I win.......... Lots of reasons why ( including quitting smoking the week I foundout I was pregnant, no thyroid, feeling so sick first trimester when my thyroid was out of whack and the only thing that would help for 5 minutes was to eat, and this baby loves sweets). About 35-40.
I will try my hardest not to get depressed about this and do what I have to do after this baby comes to see us.
I gained 7lbs and got yelled at for not gaining enough.....
I don't know how much I've gained...at least 6 pounds, but I know it's more. I go back to the dr. on Thurs, so I will find out then, but I am afraid I've gained 10 lbs in the past month. :/ My legs are puffy, though, so some of it is water weight...
oh Robin, don't be depressed. Quitting smoking has got to be so hard! Everyone that I know that quit smoking has put on some weight initially so don't be so hard on yourself. You have accomplished a very great thing!!! Besides, I'm closer to the end of that 20+ lbs that I put and I didn't quit smoking, nor did I have any thyroid issues! ((BIG HUG)) hang in there!
Lisa and NYM, single digits still? Seriously? I wish I was more like that while pregnant!! I'd rather have the doctor talk to me about not gaining enough than gaining too much!!
Thanks Jamie! I am keeping it all in perspective and am not being too hard on myself and things have slowed down thank goodness. It is hard to admit the number, hugs to you too!. Thankfully with a little guidance from above I was able to quit cold turkey. Some point it will hit me and I just need to keep a positive attitude try to keep things in check now and lose the weight after the baby is born.
