Just got back from my doc appt and glucose test. Hopefully the results from the test will be good! I've never failed before but I'm eating soooo much sugar right now that I worry that I'm overloading my system or something!
Anyway, baby looked great on the ultrasound. She didn't give me a picture but I did get a video recording so that's something I guess. Looks like she's weighing in at a whopping 2 lbs and measuring right on schedule. Woo hoo!
Yay! That's awesome you got a video of baby girl. Did you get one with your other kiddos? I've never been that lucky. How many u/s will get? *fingers crossed* your test comes back ok. I've been climbing sugar mountain myself. Hopefully it just means out babies will be extra sweet. ;)
Yay! Glad all is well! Awesome for you to have a video of baby. I had a dr. appt. today and schedule my glucose screening for next month...I am just as worried as you! Sugar pretty much reaches out to me and takes my hand! It's ridiculous! (And I really wish I could stop!)
I'm glad your appointment went well! How awesome about the video. I've been craving/eating sweets so much more in this pregnancy that I got a little nervous scheduling my GD test for next month (despite being fine with DD). Here's to hoping no one has to do the three hour test, I've heard it's a real pain with the fasting and everything.
Thanks all! Well, no word from the doc yet so I'm assuming I passed! Woo hoo! But I still need to quit this sugar . . . SUGAR I QUIT YOU! LOL Well, maybe tomorrow. ;) I craved sugar like crazy with my second pregnancy and my DD is definitely more SASSY than sweet!! LOL She really always was too--from the very beginning she was super independent and stubborn! And then I didn't crave sugar that much with my third pregnancy, and that DD turned out to be the sweet one. She is shy, sensitive, and cuddly. Amazing how kids are SO different but you can love them all just the same!!! It will be interesting to see how this one fits into the personality mix.
I get an ultrasound at every single appointment so I just bring in the DVD that they gave me and they record each one on the same DVD. It's so nice!!! I was able to get a video of each visit with my last child as well, but the first two I only got a printout at the targeted ultrasound. I do my best to leave my kiddos at home for my appointments since I occasionally have to wait a while, so it's nice to go home and be able to watch the video of the ultrasound with them. :)
