Doctor Appointment and Update! *Long*
Had my 22 week check up today! Everything is going great. I am measuring a week and a half ahead, but since my DS was 9lbs 6oz I won't have my due date changed. It is spot on anyway since I know when we conceived. I finally have gained a little weight not much just 4 lbs but at least I didn't get yelled at to eat more, since I already eat so much already. I also have to go in next week to have a sono of my jaw done, I have had a lump on my face for about 2 years and in the last month it has tripled in size so I have to have a sono and meet with a surgeon to have a biopsy and see if I will need surgery to have it removed, my doc wants me to have it taken care of before I leave.
Adoption Update: The adoptive parents and I found out that since we live in 2 different states, the adoptive parents would basically have to pay for the adoption twice. We weren't too happy with that so we compromised and I will be moving across the country in October to stay with the adoptive parents until I deliver. I think it will be pretty hard to be away from my family for 2 months but I will get to video chat whenever I want and we are going to plan an extended weekend trip home for Thanksgiving so I can visit. It will be pretty neat to go somewhere I have never been. They have already booked a weekend at the beach in a beach house the second weekend I will be there since I haven't been to the ocean before! I'm pretty excited about that. I am also excited that I will get to meet and get to know all of their family and friends while I am there so I will actually know who will be a part of Siena's life! (They have decided on Siena Evalynn.) Over all I really can't get over the fact that I have found a couple that have diminished all of my fears of this adoption and are on the exact same page with everything that Chris and I wanted for this child!!
