    I know, right? Poor kid is king of the sponge baths! Both my other sons' fell off in about a week. And after Philip's came off, it was open like how you described. Eeeee! Kinda gross. It's just starting to really heal now. How did your daughter's turn out?

    Hers is all good now.... there were a couple days where I'd clean it and then it'd ooze and crust over again. ewwww.

    John had some crusty/dried blood looking stuff left over forever. At his two week appointment his ped said to just rinse it with water in the bath and that a regular bath was okay at that point. It still took a few days before it all came off. I'm always relieved somehow when the stump is gone I don't know why.
