    Default Failed it :(

Honestly, it was no surprise but I was still hoping for the best. Totally failed my 1 hr glucose test. I'm trying my best to follow the diabetic diet this week and pass the 3 hr next Wed! Anyone else fail?

I did too. Sorry you failed. It's a bummer. Did you fail in your other pregnancies? I didn't fail with DS so I was kind of surprised. I put off taking the 3 hour, but now I have to buckle down and take it next week. Boo!

aw man! No fun! I didn't ever hear back from the doc so I'm just assuming I passed.

So sorry you have to go through the 3 hour. Sending you lots of ((passglucosetest)) vibes!!!!

waiting for my results yet, took it almost a month late. Probably find out Monday. I did not have it either other pregnancy but this baby sure does make me crave sweets. I heard it is fine to have a little protein before doing it so I did have a scrambled egg, I hope that doesn't mess with it. GL with your 3 hour tests and hope you pass :/

I decided to just check my online chart to see if it came in late today and I did pass Good luck ladies, I hope you both pass the 3 hour. Do you have to sit at the clinic for those 3 hours or will they allow you to leave and come back?

I'm sorry you have to repeat the test! I have mine coming up on Tuesday and I keep thinking about it as I am craving sweets non stop in this pregnancy. My levels were fine with DD but it still makes you wonder. I know there's some debate on whether or not to eat, but my MW said it was fine to have food (just that she'd pick protein instead of sweet stuff) and so long as you're not eating a candy bar on the way it, it shouldn't skew it.

I hope they let you take off for the three hours before the blood draw. That's an awfully long time to hang out at the office.

I was worried about mine too since I have craved sweets the whole time as well but it did come back fine!

I have craved sweets like a mad woman this whole pregnancy too. For me though, my fingers have been swelling up and I've had really severe shaky spells from *probably* my blood sugar being off. I went on the diabetic diet ASAP and I'm hoping that will help me pass on Wed. I need to Google what the repercussions of failing mean. :/ Prepare for the worse.....

eeek Marie! Mine is coming up in a couple of weeks and I'm nervous! Cookies are the only thing that seem to ease my nausea so I've been eating the mint girl guide cookies near daily. As far as I know (unless they've changed it since I had DD) we only have the 3 hr test here, not looking forward to it at all......
