Favorite Postpartum/Baby Items

What are your favorite postpartum and baby items? Has anything stood out to you that you thought you'd never use?

I finally invested in a bassinet and I am sooooo glad I did! It's become my #1 fav thing so far that I didn't use with my other sons. What about you, Mia?

Postpartum wise: My Belly Bandit. It really helped me feel supported abdominally after Marek was born.

Babywise: My Boppy of course. Which I knew since I used one with Kostas. And my Ergo, which is new for me.

Babywise - Boppy, our video monitor (with pan and tilt which isgreat for DD's room and that we can switch camera's on one monitor). I'm really anxious to use our ergo with this LO as I only got it when DD was old enough to not need the infant insert. I just haven't got around to testing it out yet but there are so many instances where it would just be easier to wear him.

Postpartum - My bella band. I really want to get a wrap to have some more abdominal support. Nursing tanks/camis I can nurse in are another big one. I feel way more comfortable nursing with a tank then just a nursing bra and having my stomach exposed if I have to lift my shirt.

Babywise: my uppababy stroller because even though i have a crib and pack and play , Carter sleeps in the bassinet part of the stroller.
Postpartum- my electric breastpump !

I'm too self conscious to let my flabby belly show too so I wear regular stretchy Old Navy camis that can just be pulled down with my nursing bra. Waaaay cheaper than real nursing tanks!

Baby: Swing! DD1 never liked the one, but this one loves it. She'll even chill out in there while she's awake and just watch what is going on.

Postpartum: Immediately postpartum my favorite was the Sitz bath. TMI, right? I really felt like it helped to reduce swelling and increase blood flow.

I've always just bought the cheap walmart nursing bras as there isn't much that needs support (hahaha) but that's a great idea!
