A little questionaire about your new dumpling. :D

1) The biggest surprise about my new baby is.....

10) Where is baby sleeping?

1) The biggest surprise about my new baby is..... That babies can nurse within 15-20 min! DD1 nursed always took at least 45 min to nurse so this was a very welcome surprise!

2) Does your baby have any type of routine yet?We're starting to get there. She's ready for bed around 10pm. She has fussy periods between 5-7.

3) Any change in eye color? What color are his/her eyes right now?Her eyes are a very dark blue. DH, DD and I are all blue eyed, so we're guessing she'll be a blue eyed girl.

4) Have you bathed baby yet or still doing sponge bathes? If baby's had a bath, how did he/she like it?She's not the biggest fan. Although yesterday I floated her in DD1s bath and she really seemed to like that. It was cute

6) One word that describes my baby is.....Perfect. (obviously ;))

7) How much weight has baby gained since birth? Is your baby chubby or skinny? 9lbs at birth, 10lbs 10oz at 1 month appt.

8 ) How often do you take your baby out on the town? How old was he/she when you first took them out? We went to a relative's house for Christmas, she was 2.5 weeks at that point. Now we go out running errands almost every day... but I have a little cover so that nobody tries to reach in.

9) Gas drops or gripe water for a gassy baby? If neither, how do you treat your gassy baby? I've gotten better at burping her, which has been helping I think.

10) Where is baby sleeping? Next to my bed in this rocker seat thing.

1) The biggest surprise about my new baby is..... He's a good baby! Heh heh. After having a complete sour puss with DS2, having such a wonderful easy baby is a giant surprise. (I probably will eat my words in a few months since I just jinxed myself. ;) )

2) Does your baby have any type of routine yet? He seems to sleep a long stretch from 11/12pm to 3/4pm. And he sleeps a long stretch at night from 9pm to 6am, waking to eat or poop. Last night was his best sleep stretch yet! Of course, he didn't poop so that probably helped him stay asleep.

3) Any change in eye color? What color are his/her eyes right now? His eyes are a really dark murky color. I *think* they might be going to change to brown. They are almost a dark grey.

4) Have you bathed baby yet or still doing sponge bathes? If baby's had a bath, how did he/she like it? Only sponge baths so far. I like to slather him in lotion every day though. I love a good smelling baby.

7) How much weight has baby gained since birth? Is your baby chubby or skinny? My son is skinny-ish, but much bigger that DS2. He actually has a little roll on his thighs. LOL He was 6lb 15oz and at his 2 week check up was 8lb 4oz.

8 ) How often do you take your baby out on the town? How old was he/she when you first took them out? I've taken Philip out shopping twice now. He's done really good each time. His first trip to the grocery store he was a week and a half. We were only there an hour.

9) Gas drops or gripe water for a gassy baby? If neither, how do you treat your gassy baby? Gas drops, and they are a God send! I've never tried Gripe water, but I'm curious about it.

10) Where is baby sleeping? He's sleeping in his bassinet by the bed. So far, he's been doing really well in it too. I'm not sure when we'll move to the big boy crib. That sounds like another question to post to you ladies.......

Kristy! This is me too! My son stinks at burping, but I've been trying my best and getting out even a little one. I think it's really helping him a lot. He's like a whole new baby. :) I'm so glad your sweetie is doing better too.

8hrs... really? I'm soooo jealous.....

1) The biggest surprise about my new baby is..... Boy parts.. After 3 girls, this is new for us..

2) Does your baby have any type of routine yet? Eat sleep and poop..

3) Any change in eye color? They finally got color 3 weeks ago! They were black at birth. What color are his/her eyes right now? blue

4) Have you bathed baby yet or still doing sponge bathes? washed him a couple of times. Gotta be careful with his skin. since his 1st bath was after he was 2 months old, we didn't sponge at all. If baby's had a bath, how did he/she like it? loves it!!

5) Innie or outie? No clue yet. He has umbilical hernia, so it sticks out over an inch. (they won't correct it until he's 2)

6) One word that describes my baby is..... Fighter!!

7) How much weight has baby gained since birth?8lbs Is your baby chubby or skinny? Umm neither. He has filled out since birth though

8 ) How often do you take your baby out on the town? He's a homebound baby, so only for dr apts and if I cant find a sitter How old was he/she when you first took them out? over 2 months, but 1 week after he was home for dr apt. He seems to have tons of them!!

9) Gas drops or gripe water for a gassy baby? If neither, how do you treat your gassy baby? He's not really gassy

10) Where is baby sleeping? Rock and play sleeper. He needs to stay up right

2) Does your baby have any type of routine yet? No way... But we haven't had much consistency period in our house between 2 different bouts of illnesses and Xmas vacation.

3) Any change in eye color? What color are his/her eyes right now? Nope, still that gray blue.

4) Have you bathed baby yet or still doing sponge bathes? If baby's had a bath, how did he/she like it? I'm doing co-bathing and so far he loves it.

5) Innie or outie? Half and half LOL. The top half sticks out and the bottom half goes in, very weird.

6) One word that describes my baby is..... Easy-going

7) How much weight has baby gained since birth? Is your baby chubby or skinny? Pretty chubby. Not as much as Kostas was but definitely not skinny.

8 ) How often do you take your baby out on the town? How old was he/she when you first took them out? He goes out pretty much every day when I drop Kostas off at school and then run errands or visit my co-workers. His first outing was at less than 48 hours old to my sister's hockey game.

9) Gas drops or gripe water for a gassy baby? If neither, how do you treat your gassy baby? Gripe water, but I haven't really needed it since I cut out dairy.

10) Where is baby sleeping? In bed with me :)
