What are you having for dinner tonight? If you're up to it... post a reccipe!
We're doing BLTs because it's going to be record breaking hot and we don't have AC so we don't want to do anything in the oven.
Earlier this week I made a croc pot Chicken and Dumplings with condensed soup and pilsbury biscuits that came out great! It was surprisingly like my gram's from scratch recipe with a quarter of the work. Here's the recipe:http://allrecipes.com/recipe/slow-cooker-chicken-and-dumplings/detail.aspx
The only things I did differently was used minced onion instead of chopping one (I forgot about it), used salt & pepper to taste and used 2 cans of cream of celery low sodium instead of cream of chicken. Also used chicken tenders as they were cheaper then breasts for once. Everyone loved it!
Probably having tortellini with marinara sauce. Pretty boring. I buy the Buitoni brand tortellini(yum) and some marinra sauce in a jar, make a salad, and throw some garlic bread in the over. Voila! That's about as far as my cooking skills go. DH is the one who likes to cook and is really good at it. He usually cooks 2 nights a week and I throw stuff like this together on the other nights.
Claire, how funny! I almost bought that exact thing for dinner while grocery shopping today. Lol.
I L-O-V-E to cook. However, this pregnancy has rendered me useless. I bet I've cooked a total of 5X in 3 months. Soooo pathetic. So tonight's dinner is (insert embarrassed face here) Oncore parm chicken patty sandwiches. Last night my hubby cooked grilled ham and cheese sandwiches. Heh heh. I can't wait to cook again!
I ended up getting some ready made lemon chicken breasts and fresh pasta at the farmers market yesterday. Tacos for dinner tonight, DH's favorite.
We had pre-marinated pork chops and baked potatoes (with lots of butter!! One of the babies favorites right now!)
I made stuffed zucchini! I love this recipe... SO good! Here it is: http://everydaypaleo.com/2011/07/21/stuffed-zucchini/
Tonight we're having homemade French bread and Mexican chicken soup. Yum!
