Fess up, do you already have your maternity stash built up? Are you using hand-me-downs or going all out? How long do you hope to stay in your 'normal' clothes?

I was just thinking about how I'm glad my maternity stuff is easily accessible in DD's closet. I know it's just bloat but I feel huge already but I'm going to try and just wear regular clothes as long as I can. I like to mix and match -- reg shirts in a larger size and dresses and mat pants/shorts when I'm too big to use an elastic or belly band.
I am usually in my maternity pants by about 14-16 weeks but I wear regular shirts throughout my pregnancies. Well, I did for DS#4 and DS#5 pregnancies. I wear really stretchy tank tops and tees and then throw a cardigan or sweater of them.
I won't be buying anything new, as hard as that is for me.
Am I the only one who has a problem with maternity clothes fitting properly? I swear, the main reason I don't have more maternity is that I just hate the way it looks on me. I do love GAP maternity jeans, though. I am going to have to RESIST the new brightly colored denim in their line. Although...if a sale occurs...maybe I could use one pair.![]()
I had a great stash of clothes after DS was born! I wish I still had them, but I gave them away to an old coworker a couple years ago. I figured by the time I decided to have another baby, then I wouldn't want those "old clothes" anymore. What a mistake that was! I wish I had everyone of those clothes to look thru now.
I have a couple things now, but not enough. If I knew someone to get hand me down stuff from, then I totally would, but I assume will end up having to buy most of it. It's the work clothes that kill me. I could wear yoga pants and a Tshirt and be content if I didn't have to work! Oh and I think I will end up wearing them around 15-16 weeks.
I am HOPING they are in my garage. We have moved four times since having DS 4 years ago. How can some of my pants already be getting tight???

I'm secretly excited that I'm pregnant in an entirely different season than with DD because I can justify maternity clothes shopping. I've got some basics but will need some new stuff. I'm already feeling fat and can't fit into my jean shorts. Luckily I work from home so yoga pants it is!

I have a niiiice stash. When we decided to start trying I went out and bought some stuff here and then some stuff there. It was on sale! I HAD too! Lol.I am trying my hardest not to gain like a cow this time. Me, pregnancy, and food go a little too well together. I bought a Target Bella band so I hope that keeps me in regular clothes a little longer too.

This! I can still wear a bunch of my favorite maternity skirts and shorts until the fall but everything I have is for warmer weather as I started needing maternity around March/April with DD. I just hope they make light weight sweaters and things like that as I get hot easily while pregnant and am picky about sweaters being itchy.
Mandy - They sell them on Amazon if you don't have them around locally.I'm sure lots of stores could order them for you if you didn't want to do Amazon. I've never tried a bella band but I love the concept.
