When I was pregnant I had terrible morning sickness that lasted forever. I tries everything. The only thing that worked was taking one unisom tablet at night. It made it so I wasn't gagging and throwing up the next day. Once I figured it out I felt like a new woman. I actually even took a half tab and it worked great.

I hope you find something that will give you some relief!!

About a week or so ago I went out and bought sea bands, ginger gum, mints, and then B6. The sea bands I thought they were helping at first, but not really. Ginger gum helped a little just like mints helped a little temporarily. But the best thing for me was the B6. I had to figure out how much was recommended and had to cut the pills into quarters since they were 100 mg tablets. I do recall some using a 1/2 of a unisom at night and the B6, and I think I tried that with my daughter when I was pregnant with her. As long as the b6 is helping I waill stick to that.
Good luck, if you haven't tried the b6 I would recommending at least giving it a shot.

oh and if I keep eating like this, sometimes my temporary relief of MS is to eat something, I am going to gain a carp load Wink

I had really bad ms to the point where I couldn't get anything done at all, I tried ginger ale and other ginger stuff and it helped a little but only while I was drinking or eating it. I finally went out and bought some sea bands, and while my MS isn't gone completely WOW it's such a huge difference. I can actually get stuff done and eat (I had previously lost almost 10 lbs in just a few weeks from not being able to eat). Saltines and small meals had become my best friend. I've heard a lot of people say that B6 has helped them, I haven't tried that yet but I want to, I just I want to talk to my OB and run it by him before I try anything not "natural".

I hate MORNING SICKNESS! I just thought I would throw that in there before I responded.

The only thing that works for me is Zofran, but even that doesn't always work. I have to carry it around 24/7. I try not to take too much because it's a medication and I know they say it's safe, but I hate to think about it going to the fetus. PLUS it's makes me so constipated. It's ridicoulous. I would almost rather be sick sometimes than be constipated! Oh what a fun balance it all is.

Argh that sounds awful! How long does it usually last for you?

Seabands have helped a lot for me, b6 didn't work for me...ginger doesn't help either but as a temp measure sucking on lollipops helps...

I went out today and bought some B6 (I got 50mg size) and am going to try those. I was talking to my pharmacist and she said if it gets too bad that my doctor will prescribe dyclectin (I think that is the name, spelling no clue!) but I want to try the B6 before going for a prescription. I also find that eating something helps with the MS, I can't stand the thought of eating but I keep a granola bar in purse and usually I once I have it in my system I feel better.

Popsicles! Something about the cold work's for my MS. That's pretty much all I've been living off of, popsicles and crackers.
