Thread: Stomach bug and pregnancy do not mix!!!

Spend friday night in the er... I was scared of getting dehydrated, so I made dh take me in. I had 2 bags of fluids and 3 rounds of anti nausea meds... Found bands in my blood work too. The er dr didn't want to send me home, but my ob said I could leave. Got home, still throwing up.. I felt kinda better by 8am. Stayed in bed all day with a liquid diet. Feeling a little better today. I finally ate something!! I'm so hungry, but every time I get, I get sick. How the heck is a preggo girl not supposed to eat!!!!


I'm out of bed for now. Going to the ob to start my Makena shots in the morning.. Still have no clue what bands in my bloodwork mean....

oh no! I'm sorry! What an awful weekend. I hope you are feeling better now. I'm not sure what bands in the blood mean either? KUP!

Still feel sick, but better than before. I called a specialist and he said the band were prob from stress from throwing up. He's going to send me a script to get a repeat cbc to put my mind at ease...

Omg you poor mama. I'm glad you're getting repeat bloodwork to make sure everything is alright. Did you at least get an u/s to see baby? Something good from all this bad.....

We got to see the baby for a quick min. She just wanted to check the heart rate. This was nice because it was the first sono with DH. It waved at us too!!!!
