Suprise hubby/SO!!

Soooo, I swear I see a tiny line this AM but I want to wait until it's much darker before I suprise him. So I'm curious, did you tell DH/SO as soon as a squinter appeared? Did you wait until after AF was due? How did you do it? How did he react?

I'm bad..I can't hold it in once I get a squinter because I need someone to verify what I am seeing so I tell. This time my squinter was so light DH wouldn't believe it. Five days later I left a nice dark one on the counter for him to see.

I really hope your squinter gets nice and dark soon Smile

When I wasn't sure, I asked my then 5 year old (she's 6 now) to look at the stick and tell me how many lines she saw since she didn't know what I was doing. When she said 2 I knew I wasn't going crazy because she's not the best looker for things ha ha! DH didn't believe it so I took another later to show him there were two lines.

And it turned out she was right!

Except for the first, where I showed him the word "pregnant" on the digital 5 hours after my first "two line" stick, I have always waited to tell DH. I like to make a fun event of it. The last one I waited almost a week for something to arrive in the mail before I told him.

I took a test at about 2am because I couldn't wait anymore, when I saw a super faint line I freaked, ran out of the bathroom and yelled OMG I THINK ITS POSITIVE. DH just rolled over looked at me said ok and went back to bed, I left my test on his computer desk so he could look at it and when I called him at work he was like "Yeah I saw the negative test on my desk".... such a party pooper he didn't even try to squint to see it. I POAS again and shoved it in his face as soon as he got home from work. That was 11dpo, I didn't get a dark line until 17dpo so there is no way I would have been able to hold it in that long.

I was one of those couldn't keep it a secret for more than two seconds kind of girls...

I woke DH up at 5am and said 'there's two lines!' he rolled over looked at it and said 'no there's not' and went back to sleep. However I proceeded to wake him up until he acknowledged that there was two lines Blum 3 It took him ages to actually admit to himself that I was pregnant though, he was more scared of M/C than I was at that point.

He didn't start acknowledging my pregnancy properly until he started to see physical changes in my body (bbs) and then when we saw the hb.

Just wanted to say I'm so thrilled that you got a second line to squint at Marie! Yahoo

When we got pregnant with DD, we weren't trying so I couldn't hide it lol. However, now that we are TTCing I"m going to have a really hard time keeping it from DH if I test when he's at work and waiting until he's home no matter how faint the lines.

Do you have a pic? I got courage to tell my DH with my 9DPO test after posting pictures and everyone else poasting that they could also see it.

I can never wait. I stayed up very late waiting for my DH to get home from his Fire Department meeting so that I could show him the Pregnant on the digital test.

With this pregnancy, I couldn't tell at first if it was 1 or 2 lines. I did wait to tell DH only until the next day. I went out a bought a digital test and came home and tested. Once I saw that it said Pregnant I ran downstairs and showed it to DH. Smile

Alright ladies. I can't keep it a secret any more! I am telling DH when he gets home from work. Since this baby is a Christmas one I bought an ornament that has each family member on it (polar bear family) and I am leaving one cub's name blank for the new baby and taping a piece of paper with the est due date there until we have a name. Smile I'll tell you guys how it goes!
