    Question Crampiness

Is anyone else getting a crampy feeling in the lower section of their belly? Kinda like menstrual cramps?

It doesn't seem to coincide with any of the contractions I've been having but I've had these cramps almost continuously today. I'm trying to figure out if maybe I've been bending down too much today and yesterday and therefore is something I can just mention to the doc on Friday, or if it's something I should call him about today. It's not "OMG" painful but it's there and noticeable and new.

I don't want to call him if I'm just wishing any symptom to be more than it is.

I get crampy all the time. Buy they says it's a sign of labor.

Those type of cramps were my first contractions with DD. Her birth was a whirl wind but without going into the whole story, I will say that they registered as actual contractions when I was being monitored. They never coincided with the tightening ones I had. I'm having them now too...several times a day for at least an hour. I'd say your body is gearing up even more for labor!! If you notice them forming a pattern, which they can do, I would call the doc even if there isn't tightening. Especially if they increase in pain level.

Interesting.... I haven't noticed a pattern, they just seem to be there all the time.

I had to take the dog out for an extra long walk today (because she's been ill) and I am now having an increase pressure and rather sharp pains between my legs every time I stand up or walk....

I'm trying so hard not to get excited!

I find I have the crampiness especially in the middle of the night and in the morning until about lunch time. Also have the sharp pains between the legs once in a while, those just plain suck.

Have progressed to quite intense (while still not OMG sore) contractions..... Had a warm bath and am lying down now to try and get a time line on them. When I took the dog around the block for her bedtime wee it felt like I was having one huge contraction for 15 min...

It's a fine line for me between enough and too much water, and a full bladder brings on contractions.

I did have some water tho and got about an hour's sleep before squishy woke me up, feels like she's having a tantrum in there...

It's 2am here now. Still having intense contractions but nothing regular. Will call the doc later and find out what to do.

Got back to sleep around 5am, for a couple hours, then had to tale the dog out because DH had some early morning work to oversee. Can't tell if I'm still contracting because the belly just feels permanently bruised. Going back to sleep for a couple more hours and will then see. If nothing changes will just keep an eye on thongs and chat to doc on Fri.

I feel like I'm having round ligament pains again. I'm thinking it could just be from all the weight of the baby on those muscles. But yours could be ctx. It's hard to say for sure. I hope they calmed down so that you could sleep!
